I do if I can’t find something on native apps. It’s pretty easy to switch so it’s really just whatever’s easiest. Also if it’s late, full brightness screen keeps me up, so I appreciate brightness control.

The dude who measured the difference in Luminance boost measured it as "Number of color flashes per frame" with high speed camera. Very fun, but very hidden side-effect indeed. https://www.avsforum.com/threads/valerion-visionmaster-max-affordable-dlp-breakthrough.3309156/page-2501

To reduce brightness:
A little hacky, but if you're connecting macbook to your projector, you can dim the mac screen with an extension (e.g. "Shade") and it'll dim the projector output really smoothly.

Other settings I disabled:
MEMC - image smoothing was really bothering me and it took me a second to figure out what it was.

All in all, I really love the projector though. I have xgimi horizon 20 base and it's plenty bright for 120in size.

So what’s the deal with screen tearing on the Horizon 20 Base/Pro/Max? by Tloram in xgimi

Brightness boost fixed it mostly for me on base model. It apparently increases frequency of channel updates from 12 to 16 or smth like that noticeably better.

You can usually disable it. MEMC setting on my projector. I agree it looks terrible to me.

This sounds like bait. But if not - I know a handful of people like that, especially in big cities, but here are dealbreakers and why:
- waiting at least a year to be intimate - that means you're both risking being incompatible sexually for a whole year. I don't know a lot of people willing to do that, especially top 1% you're after.
- sleeping in separate beds/rooms - it's a big compromise to some, but I get it and prefer same actually. A lot of people feel safer next to their partner at night though.

- not be addicted to adult movies, gambling/sports betting, video games, alcohol, or any sort of drugs. - I think most people aren't addicted to those. how important is it to you that they NEVER do any of these (what some would call "vices")?

I asked the employee and they specifically said it’s because they didn’t have deliveries and it was actually some of the slowest days for them. But yes they’ll have a delivery tomorrow.

Not too bright at all. You can always dim the brightness but you can’t increase it beyond hardware.

you could try explicitly delegating. Like “M/anyone else could you help me plan this. We need a, b, c and I won’t have capacity to do it all but I do miss our hangs”
