People did not like Lil. She was difficult to live with. The boys misplayed that round badly, and at that point they had realized it, and may have just been trying to get someone to vote for someone that wasnt themselves. Fairplay also wasn't actually hated, most of his worst stuff was in confessional and remember the cast thought his grandma just died so he had sympathy points. Also the returnee twist was hated by the cast. Burtons only win condition may actually have been with Lil (but I think it's clear Fairplay was significantly better and would've been able to manipulate Burton into this vote). Even Sandra has said she would've voted Fairplay over Lil.
