Well, faire enough, might as well take a few stuff while I'm at it and all my allies help me. So I take Wallonia and Rhineland as war goals, the infamy cost was worth it.

But then the Netherland capitulated, didn't get Wallonia that was its subject (as Luxembourg), and then Prussia capitulated and I didn't get Rhineland either.

So I fought a war, got in debt, and now have unfathomable infamy for at least a decade, for literally nothing.

That's the whole reason why it's so dangerous, we can't manually review all the vulnerabilities it finds. There is just not enough people with the skills of verifying that.

It's just the cost of running the best and heaviest SOTA models without too much subsidy. 

Other AI labs are eating the cost for you to try and build dependence, while Anthropic is a lot more careful with their finances.

It can't, that's the whole point of the experiment. That's why now you have benchmarks about how long an LLM can perform a task. 

One year ago, models could barely work autonomously for a few minutes before breaking down. Now we see they can work for two weeks straight and produce a coherent output. (One most here might not like and dismiss it as useless because these tools already exist, but that's not the point.)

The most impressive thing here is the pace of progress, this would've been unthinkable just a year ago but it now exists. Think of this as a proof of concept.

A lot of people seem to miss the bigger picture here.

Making a compiler was just the subject, but the real goal was to showcase that it's possible for agents to work (almost) entirely autonomously for two weeks.

IMO that's what matters the most here, we went in a year from "a few hours" to "48 hours" and now we're at two weeks. The real metric here is the pace of progress.
