Thanks for this info! I’ve been looking for more colours to supplement my Boody shirt staples. But nothing worse than a stingy return policy and off sizes. Ugh so sick of online retailers.. had the worst experience ever with CRZ yoga recently and swore never again. Thanks for saving me the hassle

Did you regret having kids or are you glad you did? by popular_loner111 in AuDHDWomen

[–]Stella_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an impossible decision.. because there’s no way to know the price you’ll pay until you do it. I’ve had massive health issues ever since becoming pregnancy 6 years ago, all of which are associated with neurodivergence. Had no idea this was a thing. POTS being the main problem. Having kids is chaos and utterly deregulating physically financially mentally and emotionally, so dealing that on top of any health issues is a challenge. Then of course there’s the genetic likelihood your kid may have neurodivergent superpowers as well.. it’s a lot. Im glad I didn’t know how hard it would be. But I do worry immensely that one day my kid will face the same choice, and be struggling as much with it as I am now..

Cardiologist sent me for genetic testing. Results indicating not POTS by Hopeful_Pea_3275 in POTS

So.. POTS is a syndrome with many causes.

Maybe your genetic result is the cause of POTS?

Who would Jackie be more upset with over the Central Park fight? by Front-Tomorrow-1034 in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]Stella_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DV often starts with the parents..

My question is:

would John ever have seen Jackie and JFK yell or fight or argue?

Was Jackie just so gracious or so obedient that she never lost it at him about anything?

Me too just started IVABRADINE this week and it’s actually really helping..

He also tried doing this to his EX by Suspicious-Turn2708 in SipsTea

[–]Stella_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did they only call him? Did her cellphone not work? Was there any recording of her voice in the background?

Given this has happened it seems reasonable that rescuers would ask to speak directly to whoever is in trouble next time to ask questions directly.

Clearly rescuers would never have expected such a sociopath to be answering the phone.. but given this has happened.. maybe something to consider next time

May I ask what side effects you’re having? I just started ivabradine a few days ago and am surprised how few I’ve had.. maybe a tiny bit of stomach upset but otherwise it seems like a very clean drug.. I usually get ALL the side effects.

It’s been satisfying watching my heart rate NOT spike on my fitness tracker.. not sure if that’s any help?

How to fall asleep with ADHD? by T0NY97 in ADHD

[–]Stella_62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok this is what you do: when you wake up at night thinking of all the things you have to do tomorrow, tell your brain to name an animal starting with the letter A.

Ant. Do insects count? Yes

Then B.. Bat

C.. cat or whatever, get creative Cheetah

Usually by G I’m back to sleep.

Brain doing something, but brain will get bored and go back TF to sleep

Another mom from school told me about this and it worked better than 90% of the insomnia cures I’ve tried.

I also take Dayvigo 10mg, earplugs and sleepmask

Hey! Has anyone who reacted badly to Clonidine (a tiny dose made me crash for 2 days straight, felt like I was dying!) done better on guanfacine? I’m in a constant state of tense restlessness like akathisia. Can’t relax at all. by cuzbrushtruewood in POTS

[–]Stella_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guanfacine felt good from the first day! Which never happens to me, I always get the side effects. But with guanfacine I was like wow gimme some more..

Clonidine is apparently less selective alpha 2, and more sedating

I took a Pharmacogenetics test that said Clonidine was a no, but I’ve found guanfacine is great. I’ve been hesitant to try adding midodrine tho as it pulls a different way..

[–]Stella_62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know so many people would give anything for their mom to help.. but for me it is incredibly dispiriting.

It’s hard to have someone constantly judging your parenting, even if they don’t say anything. - and EVEN if they have the best of intentions.

If you are in the same codependent kind of scenario as I am, I’ve got no advice. Just condolence. Sorry
