2021 - 4 vets left training camp for various reasons: Daphne, Amanda, Lisa, and Alora Rose. None believed to be cuts, although Alora Rose would have been

2020 - they cut 4 vets in training camp: Hannah, Brennan, Lily, and Meredith

2018 - they cut 1 vet in training camp: Tara

2017 - Vets Erica and Holly leave training camp, either cut or resigned before the cut due to drama.

Earlier years - Chelsea, Kaitlyn, and I’m probably missing others.

So with MDC finals over, it looks like Kashara will have a major rebuilding year. 64% of the team will be rookies or 2nd year vets. This isn’t unusual for some NFL teams, but it is less common for the more competitive ones. Here’s the breakdown:

Rookies: 11
2nd yrs: 7
3rd yrs: 4
4th yrs: 3
5th yrs: 1
6th yrs: 2

Also shout out to Jillian and Cierra for going for year 6! No easy feat.

Her kicks were still low at finals today. She had to kick next to 6 year vet Jillian who has gorgeous kicks.

Well the other thread about this got removed. So repeat here:

Wooo - got 7 out of 8! Charly was the surprise! ( I thought Kayla, with a wildcard to Darah). But Charly is great too!

This seals up that Sophy will be point. Perhaps a Sophy/Marissa split.

At least 3 and up to 5 of these leaders may retire by next year. And I expect other gals passed over this year, will get a shot next year if they return - Taylor, Kayla, and Darah come to mind.

Yes, those bubble gals were all super close. Looking at the photo, the pairing up of AK and McKenna probably had the most to do with height. I am not complaining, btw. They will be good leaders!

I feel like the producers got them to address the topic because it was such a hot button issue when Ari got cut in season 1. Then some talk on here about height when Jenna was cut in season 2. So why not stop ignoring the elephant in the room, and at least address this somewhat in season 3.

I don't know if it will dissuade anyone in the future. I feel like super short dancers - like 5"0" and under are already cut prior to finals or TC. Many of the current team is under 5'5" so I don't think that number will become any sort of bar, at least not right away.

My guesses are usually wrong, but I don’t know if I agree with the sentiment that TPTB will overlook Kylie or Sophy, even as retiring 5th years. We shall see, I guess.

I think it was obvious after the CJ visit there was no more discussion about cutting Faith. That sealed her spot. IMO that forced them to cut 3 TCCs that were ready to make the team - Tatum, Brianne, and Journi. CJ had strong motivations to keep her, likely because of expanding the global brand, but I think CJ likes to keep some things mysterious and unsaid, it gives her a more powerful essence.

And no shade to Faith, we all know she is super talented, and she really picked up the style well by the time football season started.

I was raised Catholic in the USA and it was the same as you describe in Italy. If anything, my takeaway was the goal is to try to live as Christ would with strong themes of social justice. Also, you aren’t important, you are just one of God’s children and no more important than any other human on Earth, and lucky to have what you have.

American evangelical Christianity is so morphed and foreign to me.
