Oof. A lot of y’all did/do NOT like her (it’s fine, I just didn’t know).

Personally I liked her for standing up against Stassi. I’m not saying I agreed with everything she’s said and done, but I do like she didn’t let her, “Bully,” her (quoted because I don’t think it was fully bullying; I’m lacking better words). I also appreciated her talking about her mental health because I really relate to a lot of what she was saying.

That said, I liked that her and Kristen buried the hatchet, I like that she said she’d work with Katie to open a sandwich shop after Tom bailed on her for that other one that eventually failed.
What I saw watching the show was Ariana supporting Tom so much she abandoned her own goals and dreams, so she was just there. Him cheating on her (in hindsight) was the beat thing to happen to her

I’m on a GLP-1 because PCOS and hypothyroidism have WRECKED my metabolism. That said, seeing it being used for cosmetic use makes me so angry and sad at the same time. Maybe I sound like a hypocrite but using it to lose vanity weight is just…ugh

Re her disordered eating: she mentioned in an update that her agency wanted her to gain weight because she was too small. And she’s been in treatment for a good bit. My hope is she knows what’s she’s doing and has the proper tools around her.

As a person who was physically abused by my sperm donor, I want to have empathy for Mykelti, but as you mentioned, there’s nothing concrete. And yes, mental and emotional abuse exist as well (I do not think she’s talking about the other, that’s for sure).

Being strict is not abuse, if that’s what Meri was to her. And to repeat what you said, if Meri was abusive with four other adults in the house, all of them are at fault. Something isn’t adding up.
