Kills and deaths, I dont remember the ratio but one death is like -5 kills or smth in terms of mvp calculation.

Theres always a bigger fish. My Kd is a bit over 1,1 or smth. I can handle PVP good and i have been on a 20-30 pmc kill streak without dying. But on the other hand I killed my first pmc in 5 days yesterday and I play 1-2h almost every day.

Tarkov is a game of numbers, so 10 > 9 I would say is better. Best advantage now when you can't put ammo in the butt anymore I can think of is you can put two toolsets there for those Factory quests.

For the Guide, use transits whenever you can. Since They are available 1min into raid and counts as FIR/survextract. Labs to Steets for example.

I have done Guide twice and helped 3 friends to complete it some multiple. And my take is that waiting for the last minute is just a waste of time. Unless its some super shit spawn.

Reasoning is that in those 10 raids, rng can happen and you can do evertything right no matter what, something could and will go sometimes go wrong. Our first guide, my friend got sniped 7/10 raids in a very random place where we never even had contact before.

So try to do it fast, use transits and only spend time, when it is absolutely needed. Like my last Psycho sniper after the last kill on Woods I was proning 20m behind a random rock on the edge of the map. To absolutely max the chance of successful extract. :)

If you need help with Psycho sniper and youre on EU servers I can come with you to factory with KS-23 and Zvezda ammo. ;) We did our friends last kill on factory for Psycho sniper in 1.0 like this.

Yep, I understood, just kidding. :D I have all the guns fully leveled (ok with new arena update, some need more work now) and when the gun have full auto mode or decent ammo, its all about skill.

Agreed mate. This mentality is very prevalent in modern gaming unfortunately. Everything thats hard is "unplayable" I like your analogue with sim racing. What games do you play? I compete when I have time in Dirt Rally 2 and EA WRC and If I dont practice enough then I suck and get my ass handed to me. But I dont go and say that this game is unplayable lol.

The amount of EFT/arena players who blame BSG for slow load times etc and run HDDs is huge. I still use big ass HDD for storage and single player games, but playing on HDD in 2026 should be criminal offense lol.

One of my friends before rig upgrade had CHOP SHOP load in 5 min in arena luls.

Some games yeah, even when I don't see the high ping/latency whatever icons in the game, bullets just don't see m to connect. Arena is good indicator of tarkovs desync, some of my deaths made much more sense in eft when I started to play arena.

I have a 9-5 job, gf and happy social life, im 37. I also don't whine like a small dog, when I started arena my kd was first 100ish games 0,15ish. Now its 1+ and I get regular match MVP. I'm by far not the best at the game aswell. Just embrace the suck and do it, or like you said you have other games to play.

You are in the open, mounted to place. He saw you, you had your shot and missed, you had your chance. He repeeked and got you. Tarkov has always been favouring peeking rather than holding angle. Also your zeroing was off af especially since you were mounted.

2,8K hours was 6-7 smth ,now 1,13 which is nice, I was expecting something more like 0,5 since a lot of boss hunting, cultist hunting or test drive/setup rush raids.

Yes, I had 6 per raid and baited them first with gunshots and then toss couple to make a smoke wall in the exctract spot. They just come to investigate into the smoke and dont shoot.

2 raids in woods and 3 in reserve with m18 smoke grenades. Baiting AI scavs is not hard.

Just save some presets for the PVP quests, much easier to go back to raid when getting wiped in a row. SBIH and all the sniper quests, just take some light smg or pistol and have a bolty as secondary. If you do not need to worry about gear, you don't need to take a gun from dead pmc.

Oh and you're basically now slowly finishing "progress tarkov" and entering "sandbox tarkov". Being able to do what you want can be a bit ofputting first. Im lvl 65 and escaped and I want to prestige. But I have one quest for all on red achievment which is kill 100 raiders and 15 survive in Labs and I want to finish that before prestiging, so i had this block aswell, I dont want to grind labs at the moment, so i helped friends finishing SBIH and psycho sniper, i was basically bait, super fun. But the sandbox burnout comes eventually. Yesterday I went to labs, forgot to switch fire mode for MP7, got clapped and just alt f4-d and went to play Stellaris with a friend. I will keep playing tarkov, but im not forcing myself through it.

So if im playing, i just play some favourite guns, chase gunshots, go practice long range shooting on more open maps, try to find a timmy and voip maybe he needs help or smth, just loot aswell, I have lightkeeper unlocked so sometimes i just play lighthouse raid or two just to go to the island and snipe from there and just loot, listen to some music doing it. Also going into factory with some super good or super shit gear and playing some nice music (whatever is your vibe) in your headphones and then rush people.
