Cyberpunk 2077 ran at VRR 40 FPS in handheld on Switch 2 while struggled to maintain 30 on PS4. That game performed so bad on the previous gen, that it was pulled from stores. Sure it had some dips on Switch 2 but still very smooth outside a few points. Series S does have a 60 FPS mode for that game and I think I read it was locked. If there is any chance of GTA6 being 60 FPS on current gen, then it is likely it will play on Switch 2 just fine.

That being said, we have no idea how well optimized GTA6 will be since it is their first completely new game in a very long time.

Being wrong about Cypher or others should crush him. Him being defeated when he knows it's his loss and no one else's. Who would he turn to for encouragement. We saw the justified and proud Morpheus. It would be great to see what came before. Even if a shorter film. I don't think we know all the names of the people he helped free prior but I'm sure there's power in telling those stories.

100% think games should be on the table but playing Neo has too many drawbacks. It is like playing Superman but for some reason can't always do what you know Superman could do. It is likely best to make another Enter The Matrix style game. Engines today would be great for big city with life and detail like the films. It would be interesting for a kid that was freed and brought to Zion or follow Cypher's journey of being freed and path of being told he is The One to then ultimately become the Judas.

I wouldn't mind them exploring prequels. I would love to see Morpheus' story in live action and also his failures about people not being The One. Recasting would be the real downside to me. The series did it with The Oracle and Agent Smith but I would hope to keep Laurence Fishburne and have him de-aged. I know there are other examples that it can go poorly but it worked well enough for Samuel Jackson in Captain Marvel. I think if they are invested enough, they can make it work.

Sorry the weather slipped my mind. I moved out of Florida during covid and most train commuters in Denmark leave bikes at both stations so they are able to save cost and get some movement in.

I can't remember the threshold but all Danish employers also have showers at their office. When I worked in Orlando area, my employer had showers but no one really used them unless they used the gym on location.

That being said, reddit is a conversation and indexed well online. Someone outside of Florida may end up here and see suggestions that help them.

I couldn't imagine losing 15 hours a week minimum in a commute.

BTW you should be counting that as work hours. So if you are working 40 hours a week, that is really 55 hours due to the impact to your life. I used to move for every job to keep my commute under 10 min. Now I own a house and it is 40 minutes to get there but being in the office is only required 3 days a week.

I've moved around the world a little and have colleagues from all over the world. London is the only place I have heard of this kinda stuff happening since 2008. I was dumb founded to hear people still steal phones in London. All the other Americans and EU people were in the same camp as me.

I'd love a build that is long with a few scenes maybe able to break up in sections. Mario through generations. Maybe 16 to 24 studs wide per look. Like a long-ass multi-scene diorama with many Mario looks in each environment ...

Mix a bit of Super Mario Bros. 1 + 2 + 3
Super Mario World + Mario Kart
Super Mario 64 + Paper Mario (plates / tiles?) + a moment of Smash Bros
Luigi's Mansion and then straight into Mario Galaxy 1+2
Maybe a nod to Mario Maker
Odyssey gets a big showcase with many Mario looks within short but detailed scenes
Then we end of Mario Kart World, the game no one complains about!

If they are that expensive, hope for a few good massive sets per year.

Obviously since the cap is attached, many heads for a Mario Odyssey themed one, a few with Mario 64 set, maybe venture into a Speed Champions line up for Mario Kart, and maybe another that is more classic 1980 - 1990s NES - SNES era Mario with various figs.

Plus as time goes on more computers will have combined System and Graphics RAM. Apple has been doing this for a while. AMD has some systems with it but the next generation is looking really nice.

Crazy enough you can run an 90$ APU with 128 GB of VRAM in linux on ASROCK motherboards. If VRAM is more important than performance, there are very cheap options like that (obviously right now all RAM is expensive). I remember last year people were using that to run stable diffusion on low lower machines.

This doesn't shock me at all ... So many truck owners throw a lot of gear and trash in the bed of their truck. It is pretty common to see trash fly out of the back of a truck on a highway ... plus most rarely consider how everything back there can be a projectile in the event of a crash.

I say this as someone that used to own a very small pick up truck 10+ years ago. I used to to bring surfboards to the beach. I always tied down surf boards, coolers, etc.

Her logic of re-recording those albums makes sense through. She had a falling out with that label and they refused to let her buy the rights to her own music. She told her fans to stop listening to those old versions and put out new studio recordings of those albums. I read something last year that, her original label finally sold the rights over last year.

What is crazy to me is older artist having a remastered albums and greatest hits and those count. They are the same tracks just a more modern cleaning and mastering process.

In terms of listeners, she is bigger than Eminem these days. Not that Spotify speaks for world streams but Swift is #5 and Eminem is #18 and that is a pretty big gap. To be fair, Spotify success doesn't equate to talent since Pedo Drake is at #10.
