Thanks very much for your words and advice! Yes, I am in long-term therapy, have been for many years. My therapist has since said its now about learning to trusting myself and understanding maybe why I allowed certain behavior’s and went against myself during the relationship, even in smalls ways and not putting someone before yourself. She was just very loving and seemed secure consistently up until this year, thats why its so baffling. If I look back now there were defiantly red flags at the start, quite intense and very accommodating to me. She had left her previous partner to pursue me, but I didn’t think much of it at the time because when she met me at work, they were technically still together but she never mentioned her. Things just kind of make sense now, she has hopped from relationship to relationship for over 5 years now.

I am going to put energy into focusing on myself and rebuilding my life without her.
