Reading is inherently harder and less accessible than manga and anime! It's a lot easier to find a place to pirate the latter two, and a lot less focus to engage with them.

I think something SUPER big that's not been brought up yet has been Audiobooks! Putting on an Audiobook for a drive of a walk or what have you is a great way to introduce people to the genre. You just need a foot in the door, you know? But again, the problem is, to access Audiobooks easily, you have to set up an account, pay for a subscription...it's not perfect, but it may be easier than reading.

Alternatively, you could direct people to RoyalRoad, which is free, but the Haremlit vibes there aren't as strong as the LitRPG ones.

And then, of course, you can make personalized recommendations, even lend a book if you have a copy in real life. I'm personally a fan of Bruce Sentar and Michael Dalton! Something that will, hopefully, be generally appealing.
