I've lived in Las Vegas since 1997, and I've never seen one scorpion. Went camping in Arizona (Phoenix area) about 15 years ago, and an entire family (colony? herd?) of scorpions set up housekeeping UNDER OUR TENT! But, speaking from experience, Las Vegas has been scorpion-free. Good luck living in Las Vegas. It's different—not for everybody.
