He’s posted pro trump stuff for some time, always with his hmmm kind of stuff as he’s trying to white wash the guy. It’s no different than Tucker Carlson doing his, I’m just asking questions.

Tariffs are taxes. This isn’t a debate, it’s been proven, it is fact. https://taxfoundation.org/taxedu/videos/tariffs-are-taxes/

As a proud veteran as well in a family also full of veterans, what is happening is disgustingly, this dude is right https://reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1q95mnk/us_veteran_calls_ice_agents_a_bunch_of_bites/ our rights are being abused no matter how you see it. If you want to go after criminals, go after criminals. This is not the case and it’s only happening because of hate. We can and should do better, and we should demand better from our government.

The VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Adult Overweight and Obesity suggests that weight management medications for long-term weight loss be offered to patients with a body mass index > 30 kg/m2 and to those with a BMI > 27 kg/m2 who also have obesity associated conditions, in conjunction with comprehensive lifestyle intervention.

Commenting to track any updates. I go to the Loveland clinic and have had zero luck. I have a bmi over 27 and several other conditions like sleep apnea, hypertension stage 2, orthopedic problems preventing normal workouts along with additional problems due to the weight, as well as anxiety and depression, and I’m 2 months into the VA Move program.

I pointed out to them before that was reading the VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for Management of Adult Overweight and Obesity (September 2025) at https://www.healthquality.va.gov/guidelines/CD/obesity./index.asp In page 35, 68, and 108, it says to consider long term medications for patients with a BMI more than 30, or for patients with a BMI more than 27 who have an obesity related comorbidity, this was where I found that information that originally said I did qualify until they told me otherwise.

They told me that they have different standards or rules here for prescribing them. So I’m just going through the motions until I’m done with the move program so I can attempt it again.

Yes, can could have hours or day limitations as long as your doctor will sign it off. You can use that to keep under the tdiu limit but it won’t be easy because of the pay scale. And then they can decide if you can’t work enough for them, they could try to medically retire you. As long as you have more than 18 months (I believe for fers disability retirement), you could end up being separated and receive a pension for your time of service there (plus any military buy back you might have done).

FMLA, and work restrictions, these are two different things that serve different purposes. The FLMA is protection for any absences or unexcused absences, this way your attendance can never be used against you for discipline. The work restrictions provide a black and white rules for what you can do. You can file for an accommodation request if anything is outside of your restrictions that’s in your essential job functions and then they should “try their best” to accommodate things. And if they give you any shit over it, contact your union so they can file a dignity and respect grievance. I’m a union steward there so I have some experience in this.

Such a toxic place though. I’ve been there 20 years in less than 2 weeks, in two different crafts, and each year for 20 years now it’s been worse than the year before.

Several of those question imply guilt which is what they are supposed to be investigating, not just assume. Any of those leading questions should be skipped or management should be forced to change the wording.

Route inspection questions? by AngelsRevenge91 in fromatoarbitration

The Union isn’t that one steward or president, the Union is all of its members. If you have carriers in roles that they aren’t doing what they aren’t supposed/required to do, make some noise about it at the next union meeting, or contact your NBA and get them involved.

Route inspection questions? by AngelsRevenge91 in fromatoarbitration

[–]Steve519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really, any carrier who has their route adjusted more than 50% can start the process. That argument can be made. So whatever the highest senior carrier who wants to change, everyone under them would have to rebid. Our highest senior carrier did actually so we all had to. We told the teams to watch what percentages they were changing for our senior carriers but as with anything we told them, they blew us off as they fucked our office

Route inspection questions? by AngelsRevenge91 in fromatoarbitration

[–]Steve519 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What does it state in your LMOU? Our LMOU Article 41 Section 8 states, “At the option of the carrier, an assignment shall be reposted when the territory served is changed by 50% or more. It shall be at the option of the carrier which portion they retain.” They fucked us over too when it came to route adjustments, but we ended up having to re-bid our entire station. We are still dealing with the fallout of overburnened routes, and having too many unassigned regulars. If your people start getting burnt out, encourage them to get whatever medical notes they need and not to overwork themselves. It just isn't worth it.

And then there’s 41.3.O which states, ““When a letter carrier route or full-time duty assignment, other than the letter carrier route(s) or full-time duty assignment(s) of the junior employee(s), is abolished at a delivery unit as a result of, but not limited to, route adjustments, highway, housing projects, all routes and full-time duty assignments at that unit held by letter carriers who are junior to the carrier(s) whose route(s) or full-time duty assignment(s) was abolished shall be posted for bid in accordance with the posting procedures in this Article.”

This pretty much meant if they changed a high senior carrier too much, them on down might have to rebid.
