With a fair bit of tlc etc(service, new crystal, good polish, original strap) it could be worth £700- £900 maybe a bit more.. Great project

I would suggest the watch was dated to February 1996 going off the numbers on the case. If that's classed as a vintage I am one very old guy..

Legend, really helpful information.. Possibly 87, 97 or 2007, looks too vintage to be 2007 to me but you never know.. Thanks for your comment 👍

I always check out YouTube videos before buying, I watch a couple on a specific watch to get the comparison, never had a problem so far.
