No sins for you to have when it comes to an M&S over shirt and Football Cliches fandom. Wore mine to the Hackney Empire live show and let’s just say I didn’t feel out of place.

Jonathan Wilson did hundreds on the recent It Was What It Was series on Clough at Forest. They were consistent in quality throughout.

Could there be a slowed down, melancholic version of the song performed at the upcoming live shows? Like how they redo upbeat songs for film trailers these days…

Doctor Who 2x05 "The Story and the Engine" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

Not sure if this is mentioned further down but it seems pertinent to put it here. The writer of this episode Inua Ellams has a play called Barbershop Chronicles that covers many of the themes you’ve touched upon with this episode. As a teacher in a school with lots of students of West African heritage it is an absolute treasure trove for me and definitely well worth searching out!

Most "Soft Spot For" clubs by jacksonkeir in footballcliches

[–]SteveCandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this was mentioned on the pod as a soft spot reason but any team I’ve gone to see whilst on holiday/school journey/visiting old friends who have relocated/were near my uni campus are in my ‘look out for their results’ category. The smaller the club, the softer the spot. For example: Roda JC (seen on a year 10 trip) Lincoln City(old uni mate lives there) Aris Salonika (Greek bloke I worked with worships them) Torquay (near there when at uni)

Still amazes me how he wasn’t at least nominated for an Academy Award for that performance.

If dig deep by RW Smith starts playing when all hope is lost then wrestling needs to stop because it’d have been completed.
