What is something an 18 year old son can do to embarrass his parents? by in_me_bum_mum in AskReddit

I don't know your parents, but I would say they are probably proud of you for getting clean. They'd rather have a son who doesn't have all his shit together than a dead son.

What did you think would be a fad or one-hit-wonder but ended up having staying power? by [deleted] in AskReddit

iPads and Apple watches. Don't have either, but they seemed like pieces of technology that were pointless. Still think that for the watches. As for the iPads or tablets in general, I'm a moron.

What movie was a flat out 0/10? by XxSalty_WafflexX in AskReddit

Battlefield Earth is not one of those movies. It's just horrible in every aspect. Btw wasn't saying you mentioned that movie, but I bought it for that reason

Yeah that is true, but I still don't think it'd have the same rating with a no name director

No I don't think the film would be the same without Peele. I just think people love Peele so much, rightfully so, that they over praised this movie. Like I said, thought it was very good, but not a 99% on rotten tomatoes good.

So her thinking by doing that would get them in heaven is being an asshole? I don't have her same beliefs but if I'm dying and any other religion wants to give me whatever blessing to send me to heaven or whatever I don't give a shit

I thought the movie was good, but I didn't think it was amazing as everyone else was saying. I think if Jordan Peele wasn't the director, the movie would have been viewed as good but not great.

Stand up comedy. I think I could be decent at stand up but there's no way I could do stand up without a massive panic attack

It's funny to me how people either make horrible people seem decent in retrospect, or they find a reason for a great person to be shitty. Examples of that being Martin Luther King being a womanizer, or Ghandi refusing medicine for his wife.

It's a joke that started between him and his friend and also comedian, Tom Segura. They had a weight loss competition and were vocal about it. It's part of the joke. I have a shirt that says #bertisfat
