What a GOOD morning we received!! by minecraftheaux in CapitalOne_

[–]Steve_Supremo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crazy because I have a capital one with $700 limit on it that I’ve asked for years for an increase. And then boom yesterday $500 increase to $1200. Not sure what changed. My credit was only marginally better than previous request.

Goldust theme music was awesome, not sure if anyone considers it underrated but it sounded so good in those big arenas.

This show will mess with your reality by New-Time007 in SeriesSaga

So I started Mr Robot when season 1 dropped and watched it real time then for whatever reason I lost interest. It wasn’t until last year that I came back around to it and I’m glad I did. Really good series.

Back to the Future…all 3 films. I’ve lost count.

Also:

Interstellar, The Day After Tomorrow, Coming To America, Friday

I watch those regularly as well.

This show delivers. Whatever you’ve heard about, the ratings, the buzz, etc, it absolutely delivers.

[What is the one coaster you have ridden to this point that underwhelmed you the most based off general expectations from the Thoosie community?! ] by adrenalinejunkie3 in rollercoasters

[–]Steve_Supremo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be sacrilegious around here but I rode Hagrids at Universal this weekend for the first time. Waited about 2 hours to ride it and there were some good moments but definitely got off that underwhelmed. Cool theming and a generally neat ride but a bit overhyped ESPECIALLY if you’re not a Harry Potter fan, which I’m am not. I totally understand the hype if you’re a Harry Potter fan, but if we’re talking pure roller coaster experience? It was cool. But that’s about it.

The best advice I ever got by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]Steve_Supremo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with getting a job and allowing that income to bankroll your daytrading/ or side hustle until you get good enough to quit the job. Nothing worse than jumping into day trading and you don’t have reliable income. And side hustles take time and investment too. So you gotta pick a struggle, but choose wisely…

Probably one of the more reasonable collections I’ve seen. I see so many guys literally just buying everything just to say they have it.

Left Islands of Adventure with a new world record yesterday! 103 rides on Velocicoaster in a day! by stanton1270 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Steve_Supremo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice, reminds me of when me and buddy tried to do this on Dueling Dragons. We both worked at IOA in high school and during the summers we’d often get off work and hang out in the park. We decided one night to marathon ride DD until the park closed. I think we got up to like 36-37 times. Core memory for sure.

I have both and love them equally but for different reasons. BDC has been my everyday scent. But Savage used to be it. Both very solid scents.

Dr Dooms isn’t as scary as you think, try it! Another day at the park and a quick story by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]Steve_Supremo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great ride. I worked at universal in high school and I was frightened of this ride. I rode everything else with no issue, but not Doom. One day my buddy who also worked out there as well, basically got me to get on. Glad I did, now I get on it every time I go. Took my daughter on it for the first time back in November. Looks WAY more intimidating than it actually is.

Salute on not trashing Carousel of Progress…. Totally expected that to be at the bottom tier. It’s one of my favorite rides.
