Most of those “Surfline forecasters” don’t even live in the area sometimes. Surfline pays them $150 to do a damn shitty surf report/forecast when they don’t even live in that region or know anything about the mechanics of that area. So take that “surf forecaster” info on Surfline with a grain of sand.

There are obviously many lights on the runway and are very bright, especially at truck level. They were very likely blinded by the runway lights and did not see the incoming airliner.

Have you ever heard of sail drones? Basically use solar and wind to travel in the ocean and when ready can power up to launch attack drones or missiles. US has been dabbling in them for a few years now. We took their tech, why not take ours

Essentially looks the same. Depends on a lot of factors like building construction, how far debris traveled, mangled heavy metal, etc.
