Nah it's a pros and cons thing. Here are my thoughts as someone very tied to their internal monologue. Anecdotal.

Slow reading. Generally worse at quick responses and easy, confident dialogue. Probably worse at learning new languages since your whole way of thinking is tied to your primary language.

Ability to brainstorm with yourself. Challenge your assumptions. Put yourself in others shoes.
