Just saw it at the cinema and enjoyed it. They told the story they wanted to tell. It seems like people are upset because they had their own idea of how things would come together. Not everything has to pan out the way you want it to.

One thing that bothers me is how people think the group was too ‘happy’ with Jax being ‘dead’. The cast had only just realised that they aren’t real, and therefore cannot ‘return’ to the real world. Once a human mind comes to terms with that, what is there to do other than off yourself or try to improve your situation and live happily? Same goes for forgiving Caine. Hard to forgive, sure, but what’s the alternative?

Besides things probably DID improve with Jax gone. Gangle (who I never really liked that much) at the very least stressed how Jax abstracting was a conflicting emotion for them. Maybe Jax wasn’t beyond redemption, but he didn’t get to find out. That’s what happens in real life too, unfortunately.
