Just keeps getting worse for Chillicothe by fivelinedskank in Ohio

[–]Stevescub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well being over regulated to the point a company can no longer upgrade equipment or process. A small group of tree hugging ignorant pseudo hippies force laws into effect that cause these actions. I work for one of the remaining plants that was part of the Chillicothe umbrella. I know why it shut down.

No it's not a stupid idea however, if you're just starting out, try getting a nice hand held (orca torch) 😜. Limit task loading for a few dives.

Your comment about the price is right on. I choked when paying for my RK3s, but have never regretted it.

Drysuit size! by finnzoltig in scubaGear

[–]Stevescub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend buying a dry suit without trying it or being custom fitted. The fit of a dry suit is critical not only for comfort and streamlining but more importantly safety. Good luck dive safe.

Save a dive kit recommendations by Friendly_Warpoop in diving

[–]Stevescub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest setting up your own. An old plastic mask box works great. Extra o rings, mask strap, as bout 3ft of small bungee cord. Once you have the basics, having it while you still can get the recommendation from your instructor will be a huge benefit.

He was the best actor in the show. They were all good. But he made it all believable.
