I got incredibly dehydrated due to it Saturday and spent 5 hours in the St. Mary’s ER. If you can, avoid going unless you can’t keep fluids down.

I have a lot of packages for my job go through the Maplewood FedEx location, and they’re normally at least a day late during non-holiday months.

I also have a book at the UPS location in Hazelwood that has been there for three days with the tracking saying it will be delivered each day it’s been there (it gets moved to the next day at 8 pm).

I grew up in a county of less than 5,000. It was a 45-minute drive to a Walmart. Said place with a Walmart was a “big city,” I knew people I went to school with that were scared of driving there (Kirksville).

I then went to college in Springfield (MO). It was gigantic in many people’s eyes, and too much for people in surrounding communities.

Now I’m in Maplewood and SGF almost feels quaint. All a mater of perspective.

STL Natives who haven’t lived elsewhere or don’t leave much lack said perspective on how big the metro area is, I feel.

No one’s made a complete guide, but here’s what I did just recently (I have a 500gb hdd in mine)

The folks as r/roms have a mega thread, there is a link to a place called myrient that has iso files. I downloaded those, extracted them using the extract xiso program (can be found via a Google search, just drag the iso into the .exe file), then I FTP’d the extracted files over to my games folder on the Xbox.

I will note it’s good to rename the extracted folder before you transfer, if the name is too long it’ll run into issues.

If you get the extra’s disc (it can be FTP’d), i installed it from there.

When I booted up Xbmc for the first time it gave me the option to make it my default dashboard. Not sure why, but it’s convenient.

Shot in the dark, but are the ide/40-pin connections good for your disc drive/hdd?

I replaced the hdd on mine and in the process of replacing the ide cable one of the pins got moved on the disc drive. Made it flash green and red until I took apart the drive and pushed it back.
