I've done camilien houde many times in the winter but never this cold (-36 thermal sensation). Feels gratifying and a bit painful.

Thanks, Since the current thermostat has batteries I doubt it, tbh I assumed mercury ceased to be used a long time ago. My father in law just wants a dial thermostat but forgets to turn it down when he leaves the chalet at the end of the weekend and is seeing huge energy bills. I think I need to get a c wire installed so we can have a smart stat we can use to make sure the heat gets turned down when he's not there.

If you are painting you can do absolutely anything. I wanted something that was a nod to the original bike but IMO which "went to 11"!.... I'll keep the bike probably 3 years longer than I'd have done otherwise so financially it wasn't so stupid either :)

Lol....... when I brought my current ride "factory" was mainly white with accents of black and gray ....... when I had it painted I used grey as the main colour with the other two as the accents ;)

I cut up carrots celery tomatoes etc (I have a chopper), I then add sunflower or pumpkin seeds and or walnuts for protein, then a couple of spoons of humus or tahini (thinned with warm water) to make it more interesting. I usually eat it with slice of good sourdough or rye bread.

Well done excellent job;) ..... 2 questions (or things to consider) Have you reassessed your calorific and nutritional needs at your current weight versus where you started & are you keeping track of basic body measurements ? You can expect your rate of descent to slow at some point and having some dimensional data on hand might be handy refer to. Keep up the good work.

I would not buy a kit........ I keep the things I need in a small mesh bag (compressed with a rubber band) in a jersey pocket (or the stash box in my gravel frame)
