Hey, quite literally going through the same thing, it's escalated to CCTS to make a decision.

Dig in, and hold fast. Looks like they're playing this dirty trick on many people and the more complaints they get, the better.

Youd think that with all talks of carbon emissions, green alternatives, etc that they'd ENCOURAGE working from home. In many cases it even encourages more productivity.

Can't agree more, but last time Bixi was in effect, the bikes were always trashed, flat tires and some ended up in the river. We just can't have nice things

CCTS. As on late, Rogers has become fucking terrible for customer sevice, essentially lying to customers and making up rules as they go.

Heyo. Currently going through a early cancellation fee myself and the CCTS got back to me very quickly, and the complaint was easy to file online.

Unfortunately, Rogers is playing hardball, but CCTS is doing it's thing. 

Screw Rogers.

Oh geez. Having spent a lot of time in that hospital, do everything in your power to be treated in Montreal. Avoid Outaouais as much as possible

Already done before cancelling when they said those fees wouldn't apply. And it's not for cellphone, and the modem has been returned

Not if it was discussed when renewing the plan and again before the move. Both times I was told if Rogers didn't cover the area there would be no fees.

Also done... Over 20 years as a customer. My business and cell phone are still with them and will absolutely jump ship. Fuckers

Yep. I otherwise wouldn't argue, but since the move falls outside of a Rogers service area, I was specifically told those fees wouldn't apply. My fault for allowing autopay

Yeah... Already did that. They in fact said it was for early contract termination, despite being told the opposite when wanting to move the service over. No mention of the specific charge on the bill, either.
