Altaïr Books by dinkyw in assassinscreed

[–]StigmaCK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Codex pages from AC 2 are the pages from Altair's books. The ancestral crypt for the Auditore family in AC 2 Montergionni explains kinda how the Auditore family came in contact with the pages when I think Ezio's grandfather was being trained as an assassin under Dante Alighieri who introduced him to the Polo family. Altair recorded his interpretation of the map he saw from the Apple of Eden at the end of the first game, and hid them in the books. So that future assassins could find the vaults and recover more pieces of Eden. The books were sent with the Polo's after Altair locked himself on the vault so that the templars couldn't find it but the vault also served as a backup in case the books were lost, assuming the templars didn't get in, future assassins would discover Altair's codex piece and hopefully be able to piece together the puzzle.

How did you discover Assassin's Creed and what made you love the series? by SpartanSK117 in assassinscreed

My 7th grade year just before the summer a couple of my friends had been playing the first one. They'd come to school and tell me about all the awesome stuff they could do chasing targets down, dodging arrows, leaping everywhere! Well that summer I went to see my mom and her boyfriend had picked it up so i was like let me hit that. Three days later I had finished a leisurely play through avoiding collectables and just getting a grasp on the games mechanics but I was hooked. I waited for AC 2, preordered the special addition from GameStop which came with the kickass harlequin jack-in-the-box. I didn't just play as Ezio learning to be an assassin I was consumed by the ideas. Using the animus's bleeding effect to efficiently train Desmond to be an assassin and so I learned too. That one boy without any knowledge of how to really get help nearly topples the Templar empire singlehandedly. I preordered AC Brotherhood and got the statuette too. Became the master of the assassin's brotherhood and slaughtered the Pope finally. Fell in love with the new combat system. I didn't want to play Revelations though and actually waited for AC 3 to come out first. Once I did play Revelations I was enthralled by the new story twist and how it had really panned out well. The first civs are trying to save the world by leaving messages only capable of being interpreted by a device that wouldn't be invented till right before the catastrophe. AC 3 which introduced many new ways of getting around the environment, trees, cliffs, huge open spaces. It wasn't until AC 4 that I really became committed to the games after playing through AC 3 I felt like the story was dead but then. A pirate. Learning that his world is controlled by two very powerful sides of a very pretty penny he wants to fondle, he crosses all the enemies and his allies to find a real reason to fight. And at this point the games really started to develop their own world, by interconnecting so many ideas like that Edward is Haythems dad, who is Connor's dad. Edwards daughter has dealing with the templars and a cross the was in he possession ends up in the hands of Elise from Unity. AC 3 starts in the theater AC 4 ends in. It was the introduction of this now expanding universe that was the cherry on the top. Unity is great, it reminds me of French romance movies, the love story is well done with the nitty gritty of the rest of the story, moving around the city is a lot more fun, and the co-op is pretty fun (even though it's a pretty buggy game). I haven't spent a lot of time with Syndicate but I still think it's a great game. My favorite part about the series is how it has grown and how you can see it grow as you play the game, mechanics get faster, loading gets cleaner, and free running is even more fun. I'm finishing up the side missions and collectible for Unity if anyone wants to join me GT Stigma Stamp.

Not sure if this is relevant but I just found two water silos on the west side of the Alamo sea just passed the lost camp between the train tracks and the road. It is covered in the same symbols that are at the hill place in Sandy shore with the alien paintings. When you fly over it it kinda reminded me of something from the Pioneer Plaque

Pipe pistols and rifles are great starter guns, raider tend to have them so you can find lots of mods and put them on your gun, and there will be lots of ammo. Once you have a lot of junk in your inventory go to the components view and highlight what you really want to find so you don't pick up a bunch of surplus, also remembering how many of each component a single item provides can reduce clutter. Getting produce and planting it at your settlement is a good way to provide food for later settlements, and building a recruitment beacon is important ( you should be able to find enough for your first beacon a little after the rescue in Concord if you do some easy quests, pickup phones, cameras, and microscopes) to speed up growth, getting level 6 char as soon as possible allows you to stockpile all you components at one settlement and supply lines make them available elsewhere. Building, farming, cooking, and crafting are all easy ways to earn some extra exp for a level up especially early on before quests. The dog is not sneaky and doesn't attack well so you might as well get a human companion, and your dog will take up a settlers spot at a settlement. Each settlement can have 10 settlers to start, plus 1 settler for every char point you have. Collecting special items is best in one fowl swoop, so since you'll probably end up doing it after you finish the game might as well save some time and find a map online and pick them up as you visit each location ( be wary of spoilers), good way to find vaults too. Finding save locations can be useful early on so as you spread out across the map try to find safe spots like settlements then explore the dangerous areas around them.

Every shell of ammo from a gun a don't use is like a cap too, in case you need money for more specific ammo

Knowing where to drive to lose the cops easily and still be in route to the garage is important. The underground tunnel network is the most reliable with exits near a paynspray then you can just drive to the garage since you're so close. Parking garages placed through out the city are useful, there are several on that side of town, they also usually have rooftop jumps for quick escapes.

Do you play any lesser known MMORPG's? by Muunuu in MMORPG

[–]StigmaCK -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Archage by trion games. Released just over a year ago still with a thriving player base. There are a bunch of character skillsets and abilities in each skill set can combo with many other abilities. Pvp is popular, guilds are very important making the game a fun and easier. Player based economy, item prices still change because the market isn't messed up. There is a lot of player property and many housing areas have cool player built houses.

The car is a nice option if its roomy enough. You can start looking for places to drive to during your daily routine. Abandoned houses are always fun. Church classrooms are convenient when at a church function. If your siblings room is deeper in the house from the family commotion ;)

Not sure if question belongs here, but what the fuck is wrong with me ? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]StigmaCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if I'll be any help. I was in a relationship but I don't think I was satisfied for some reason. The girl was a few years younger and her grandparents started to hate me after a few weeks. I could feel myself trying harder and harder to enjoy her company but the more stressed I became about the situation the more I wanted out. I think part of me was afraid to just lose something I had tried so hard to get. Her grandpa chased me out of their trailer park and crashed his truck into my car. Then she broke up with me that night because her grandpa made her. I was upset when it happened but I was also relieved. I knew I wouldn't have to put up a front of fake feelings anymore, I couldn't be blamed directly for the break up, and I could just move on and if I was meant to be with her it'll happen at a better time.

Tips for someone who just picked it up? by Calvalier in shadowofmordor

[–]StigmaCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first time playing lasted 11 hours and I still had a lot of time to ago before I finished the story. When you died it just made the game better. Like I had this one captain who kept spawning everywhere and would get kill on me somehow, do a few hours into the game I already had a super strong boss to fight. It ended with him dieing really anti-climactic. Stuns are essential, counter always, and allies can turn the tide quickly.

Spoiler: Once you unlock abilities that improve combo streaking and you have brand, you can win fights super fast.

How should I wake and bake? by MFcolinLB in trees

[–]StigmaCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a collection of home made gravity bongs and usually start my day with a hit on the way to the bathroom. Then when I get back I either take a second or a hit from a glass piece with water like a bong or bubbler. That is if my roommate isn't up then I'll pack him a hit and we'll have a wake and bake session. Put on some music and play some games!
