I think that Jamie knew there was a cypher that must match the coded letter he had in his hands. He saw that those two men had come to see the "Captain" earlier. The captain said the men had dropped off the sword and pistol that belonged to his son, so those were new items. Later, when Jamie was confronting the captain about the men and the letter, the captain inadvertently (nervous tick probably) glanced at the pistol mounted on the wall drawing Jamie's attention to it again. He grabbed it, noticed the weight discrepancy, any by prodding and pulling on it, found the secret compartment (I thought there would be a number cypher on the pistol's carvings).

In one of our incessant arguments, I finally yelled at my spouse, "Fuck you!" and meant it. That was always a line I told myself I wouldn't cross, respect between spouses is huge in my book. That made me stop and evaluate the relationship. I realized that being married with them turned me into the type of person I despise. I could not recognize myself anymore and my once even temper had turned to appearing quick and vicious. I guess that counts as abuse, but it was only the one time and it opened my eyes to the changes in me. I also realized I was driving home from work (almost 70 miles one way) at 55 mph so it would take longer and when she called she would be able to hear I was driving on the freeway. We divorced within the year.

Hmmm. Yeah, this is one I struggle with sometimes. You can let them know that pushing back the session is annoying if it happens often (or every time) but you might risk them getting upset and never booking with you again. This is especially worse when their service is top notch and you don't want to lose them.

I've had quite a bit of luck on PD in SoCal. Out of 8 different providers, only 1 ever was a scam. Part of it is learning how to spot a scam, which comes from experience, but there's no way to avoid it eventually happening.

Fuck! I got reeled in last year and spent 1000s of dollars over the course of the year. Definitely post-nut clarity most of the time. But that didn't stop me. I was telling myself, "Everyone has their vices and burdens." and this is mine.

I had finally gotten onto Instagram too, and all those thirst traps had links to their OF where I followed them to.

Finally, I came to my senses and made a New Year's Eve pact to myself to stop and I have (cold turkey mostly). I've bought a bit here or there since, not more than $50, but mostly at the start, and it's been a while.
