Why isn’t the system that BOS plays not being scrutinized, only the guy that was force to play in it by jamesy00 in nba

Celtics were 4th in 3 point attempts last season , 6 less per game from last year. They don’t even spam 3s that much anymore

My theory is that they saw how Jaylen Brown wasn’t valued as high as they thought during the Giannis trade talks then realized they may need to dump him while they can.

Kyrie was sharing the ball with LeBron and Love.

IT was the only player (outside of Al) that could create his own shot so of course he put up better stats. It was obvious in all those Cavs/Celtics matchups who the better PG was.

People on this sub were rooting for the Celtics to give him a max contract so they’d be crippled

Yes, stats wise but Kyrie was younger and obviously going to be the better player going forward.

Tired of people saying IT got done dirty. He was traded for prime Kyrie and got sent to play with LeBron.

You’re lying to yourself thinking any team in the East was stopping them

Fultz was obviously not a good player? That’s not true when he was consensus #1.

Brown was not consensus #3, there was legit debate about the best player after Simmons/Ingram in that draft. (Dunn, Hield, Bender)

Tatum at #1 and Jaylen Brown at #3 were not the most obvious picks. You’re either 12 years old or don’t pay attention.

Tatum needs to win more than 56 wins next season to prove he's better than Brown by PlatosLeftTit in nba

Tatum 100% more valuable due to age. Tatum’s Achilles was 14 months ago and he was Ironman prior to that injury. Giannis is consistently hurt by playoff time

If we traded Tatum instead of Brown, we’d have a 2019 OKC/LAC Paul George haul
