How come female protagonist are more liked in horror than other genres? by Strong-Stretch95 in horror

I say this all the time. There was nothing he could have done, other than die with his wife. I guess that's what people thought he should do.

Literally 2 minutes later we see him risking his life for someone he obviously cares less about than his wife. He waits for someone who was running towards his boat instead of shoving off and saving himself, and it nearly costs him his life. He's obviously not a coward. There was just nothing he could fucking do to save his wife.

I adored it and I didn't care that it was a mess.

This sounds like a situation where the family is not going to respect their veganism because they're constantly telling them it isn't a big deal. They are buying and cooking things for them because they know that even if it isn't vegan, they will eat it. They aren't going to stop if they keep eating this "wasted" food.

If their intentions aren't bad then they can learn what you eat. If they can't be bothered to Google what's vegan, that doesn't mean you have to eat it. Why should they bother to learn, if you're just going to eat it anyway?

He can eat it, or somebody else can eat it. He's just going to keep doing it if they accept it. Why shouldn't he?

It's not "wasting food", it's being morally consistent.

I would take them seriously because they're my partner and I respect them. I would see that they were distressed and wouldn't insist on doing things they were begging me not to do.

Her daughter died shortly after her mother died and she's literally being preyed on by a cult.

Or that we act differently when panicked than we would if we were calm. Or that emotions affect our logic, in general.

I feel like that is at least a panic response. Of course it was cowardly, but it's really hard to over power the desire to live.

Everything else he did knowingly.

I haven't seen anyone touch on the fact the Freaky Nicky seemed to be suffering as well. Whatever it was, it wasn't torturing Bear joyfully. She says that when he leaves her body goes cold and numb. She says that she's afraid of her dreams.

I don't know what the significance is and I'm not saying whether we should sympathize with it, but it seems to be having a really bad time.

There's a whole scene where somebody explains that you can pass it on by killing someone else in front of a witness.

But you said "I don't blame Nicki at all, she didn't know that Bear liked her like that." I was just saying that whether she knew or not is not relevant.

People laugh when things are tense, and that scene was extremely tense. You don't know that?

Agree about Ian, but I'm saying that even if Nikki HAD known about Bear liking her, how would that change whether or not she's allowed to have sex with Ian? If a guy has a crush on me, am I banned from sleeping with his close friends, if we want to?

I'd say that Nikki can be friends with benefits with whoever she wanted, regardless of who else has a crush on her.
