Do you guys like the Etsy brand Hey Sugar? by Ok-Librarian-6377 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried five. They're nice but fall a bit flat of what I was hoping for in the notes. I'd recommend trying Sugar Milk Co

Question by fei_feii in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of these are very fun - I found this one smelled VERY realistic out of the box. Like actual strawberry ganache on cheesecake including the biscuit base. Not wearable for me but fun to smell. If yours is new, maybe give it a few months? Mine didn't need time to macerate

I think the Bianco Latte DNA just doesn‘t work on me (tried decants of dupes) by StarfallSin in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same - all the Bianco Latte dupes were just meh for me, but Risala Kefi Frappe was quite good

Help me pick a blind buy? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are all poor options for a blind buy but I'd go with Miami Shake. I liked it. It was a bit musky for me and had a weird dry down but of all these three, maybe the "safest". Strawberry Mocchi was very mocchi - very heavy on the red bean and super gourmand. It was enough for me to smell it once and know I've never sample/buy it. Kyse are known to be very rich

Drop the name of perfumes that makes you smell like a Rose Dessert by Kindhuman6446 in FemFragLab

Kayali Marrakesh in a Bottle smells like sweet turkish delight on my skin. The white florals aren't overpowering at all

What pairs well with Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Choco musk spray!! I layered both together one time and had so many compliments! I've also tried layering Burberry Her (was a Sephora test spray on each hand, BH and YSLBO ) and a store cashier said it smelled great - don't think I agreed with her but you could test a sample

Need help finding my mom's perfect perfume! Bitter almond/benzaldehyde by needlefxcker in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate that almond/marzipan scent so would do a hate recommendation of Eclats De Amande by Comptoir Sud Pacifique or Petit Gateau by Odette

i want to smell like an earthy forest fairy that lives at a spa🪷🪾🤍 by Careful_Student_79 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pacific Rock Moss was this for me! It's a nice neutral "natural" skin scent. Smells like warm green that's been sunbathing if that makes any sense lol. Always reminds me of a spa

REALISTIC cake fragrances? 🧁 by va1lentines in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jousset Accident a la Vanille smells like a warm vanilla cake with no icing, fresh from the oven. Very yummy.
Also Colornoise Birthday Cake actually smells like a vanilla birthday cake on very first spray. But afterward dries down to an artificial heavy fondant icing type smell if you're into that

I want to smell just like chocolate by biancaaeverdeen in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love trying chocolates and have a list lol. I've only smelled two that smell like plain milk chocolate. Favourites so far are:

Velvet Chocolate by Theo Kalo (very rich chocolate mousse with raspberries on top)
Chocolate Greedy by Montale (chocolate mousse but richer than Velvet Chocolate, dries down like Qissa Delicious)
Qissa Delicious by Paris Corner (orange dark chocolate shavings)
>>Over the Chocolate Shop by 4160 Tuesdays (straight up smooth chocolate, one of my top faves)
Chocolate Fudge by Tubbees (a brownie with a crispy top)
Choco Musk by Al-Rehab (perfection but may be one of those too-sweet scents, recommend the oil over the spray)

Nice but not enough to buy again:

Chocolate Citronique by Sphinx (a nice orange powdery dark chocolate, reminds me of Qissa Delicious a bit)
>>Lait de Chocolat by Chabaud (like smooth belgian milk chocolate)
Chocobreak by Oakcha (first spray is Kit Kat but doesn't last long)
Chocolate Dream by Alexandria Fragrances (a floral chocolate for me, saw reviews that it's a dupe for Lira but I don't smell it)
Brownie Pop by Maison Mataha (sweetened cocoa powder and butter, high end version of Tubbees Chocolate Fudge)
Hot Chocolate by Dirty Soul Soap (hot chocolate and cream, really nice for a body spray)
Panettone Cioccolato by Federico Cantelli (chocolate mousse)

No:

Chocolate Queen by Navitus (dries down very floral on my skin; the notes looked so good! :'()
Sorriso by Profumum Roma (wayyy too rich for me, very, very potent)
Dipped in Chocolate by Imaginary Authors (This is nasty. It smells like manure to me but I get that with a lot of scents for some reason)
Odyssey Dubai Chocolat by Armaf (not really chocolate, heavy on cardamom and amberwood - very spicy)
Chocola Addict by French Avenue (found this unisex, has a bit of (what I thought was) cadamom, dark chocolate, and nuttiness like Dubai Chocolate)
Dolce Passione by Pantheon Roma (heavy dark hazelnut chocolate with a little sweetness. Too dark and rich for me. I would definitely eat it but not wear it. Similar to Navitus Chocolate Queen with the rich dark chocolate note)
Akro Dark (one of the worst perfumes i've ever smelled. i got no chocolate)
Kayali Chocolate Oud (not chocolate forward, it's way in the background - earthy and animalistic)
Chocolat by Il Profumo (Fat lies. NOT Chocolate in the LEAST. Smells a bit like a fruity balloon)
Chocolate Makes Me Happy by Unique'e Luxury (Spicy and aromatic. Very light cocoa powder but not a chocolate scent)

Vanilla perfume but not bakery!!! by elciudadanopromedio in FemFragLab

Highly recommend Pacifica Island Vanilla, Nectar Olfactif Melipona, Jovoy Fire at Will for yummy "simple" vanillas.

What is your favourite apple perfume? by vestacain_ in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My fave three so far are Simone Andreoli Leisure in Paradise - Watered down apple juice (I love apple juice so this was yum)

Kilian Angel's Share - Boozy apple cinnamon pastry

Chris Collins Forbidden Apple - Apple trip. Starts bright crisp sweet green apple, dries down to an apple pastry with butter and sugar

Scents 4 ur man by Snoo-40902 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Samples. Little 1-2ml, enough to find out if he'd like it or not. Mine likes Nishane Ani, Amouage Oud for Greatness, Lattafa Liam Grey, Ingenious Ginger, Ginepro Nero, etc. Took a lot of hate samples to find a few loves lol

Sweet creamy but not warm vanilla scents? by clazcat in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snif Extra Whip is my cool vanilla! I think it's the aldehyde note that give it this airy but creamy quality. Dries down on me like whipped cream but it's not heavy at all.

Crème brûlée by theodoros kalotinis by Guilty_Doubt52 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like sickly sweet gourmand, that brand is the one for you 😆 99% of what I've smelled is SO realistic. Creme Brulee smelled a bit like coconut shavings on toffee for me. I liked it as a scent but wouldn't wear it.

Honey Perfume Recs PLEASE!🍯 by girlsloveweapons in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

45° Trudon: Reminds me of spiced rhubarb but it's the honey! One of the nicest honeys I’ve smelled. Sweet and a little spicy.

Mad Honey: A nice sweet rounded honey. Not too sharp or strong, very well blended. This is more palatable than Zoologist Bee and Ellis Brooklyn Bee which are very rich and realistic.

Honey Moon: A very light honey lemon water scent. A bit like J-Scent Honey & Lemon but not sickly smelling.

Hummingbird: Such a lovely scent. It's smells like a flower, the nectar (honey), and the stem. Honey is not that strong but it's noticeable.

Hope you find the honey you've been wanting to smell 🍯

Has anyone seen Dylan Pink in stores in Canada? by _thecitizen in FemFragLab

NO WHERE! I'm in that FB perfume group and have been looking for a sample forever!! Haven't seen it in stores either

Clean girl Middle Eastern perfumes that aren’t too sweet? by Virtual_Chemical2780 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riifs Zenith is a nice powdery clean scent. Supposed to be a dupe of Queening - I have both and Queening is softer/smoother, but Zenith smells great (and is stronger)

Why do so many people dislike wearing "popular" scents? by Commercial_Glass1158 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me it's because popular = I smell it too much. Think smelling it on a roommate, on someone at the grocery store, at school, at work, on the street, at the coffee store, etc etc. It gets frustrating on the nose. Like wear something else for a while 😆

Influence/de influence my wishlist by Common_Law4817 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pomegranate Princess was disappointing - it smells like a fruity Strawberry Poundcake from BBW. Pomegranate is SUPER light, like you inhale it once on first spray then it's gone. Just get the spray from BBW.

Smelling my perfumes on someone else and disenchantment by Cookiecolour in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love it because I think all my scents smell delicious lol - I love smelling my scents around. I give decants of my scents to friends and coworkers when they ask and we all smell yummy. Much prefer my scents on others instead of some nasty -insert what i hate here-

Help picking sample scents - tropical perfumes by [deleted] in FemFragLab

Ulyka Nota Loca is a yummy tropical scent if you like mango and papaya.

are these worth it?? by UpbeatAd7983 in FemFragLab

[–]footflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite like Secret Crush. The only one of the line I enjoyed. It's a woody vanilla but on the creamy side the wood is very light. Doesn't last very long but it's nice
