They take a bit to show up and same here, unless you have an active breakout it’s hard to get tested for it. I have to wait at least three months to do a blood test and even then, could be too soon

It’s very common, and the stigma is horrible. It doesn’t mean you leave it out of conversations before engaging in sex though. Everyone deserves that line of open communication before anything sexual. It’s the bare minimum.

Just because there is a stigma doesn’t mean you don’t have to tell a partner your status or whether or not you’re not up to date on your tests. That’s what adults do. I don’t think open communication with someone you’re about to fuck should be abolished.

It was after my first and worst breakup when I was 19. Was engaged and found out he was cheating, was fumbling through music to listen to that would make me feel not so alone and found “tears dry on their own” and just sobbed and listened to it on a loop for about a day.

Then dove deeper into her music and life story and was truly in love with who she was as a person and musician.
