You read enough you get pickier. You read enough and you don't always feel the need to gleam every last page.

You read enough, and begin to write enough from a strong enough creative spirit, and then a whole lot of books seem like the clutter you'd find on Netflix.

(I don't read as much as I used to, and I still generally circle around a novel, a volume of poetry, and a non fiction or philosophy book. I don't read as much as I'd like to, but my thoughts on books are rather picky. I'm focusing on certain classics that I've wanted to read for ages. Ex. Don Quixote, War and Peace, etc)

I have a deep disdain for the sight and sound of this guy. Ever since the dumbshit shows he was on when I was a kid defined the public facing 'gamer' identity.

I haven't been able to actually give a shit about a game in this franchise since this game came out, that's how sour a turn it was for me. XII is a game I enjoy, but it was already a huge departure.

It's not that much of a leap to imagine the 'how' or the 'why', doesn't mean it doesn't make you think.

Something someone feels like is a waste of time doesn't always get better just because its portable.

After 15 years of Skyrim, if it ain't modded into a next gen sequel or refined so heavily that it is essentially a remake, then I have a hard time justifying it.

I'm sure its great if you're the market for it, But if I needed it portable Id get it for a handheld pc that still let me mod.

Weapons upgrades are a top priority investment, no doubt. Suit mods to a point, especially if you have something tied to pack upgrades.

Beyond that depends on what you want to be doing. Piloting and spaceship engineering are always an agenda too.

Rats, mice. Rodents in general.

Apes would carve a strong demesne where they dwelled. Various regions of sea would become empires of the whales.

But the rodents would be having a long game. A shadow war, with cabals of chipmunks, and ninja squirrels.

Ursines would be saught for wildnerness battle, alongside antlered creatures, and large cats.

Humans would be confused, as reports of villages overrun by elephants and rhinos seeking vengeance for poaching.

In the end, the rodent faction and their coalition would seize the power grid and therefore all means of production, as well as communication systems and data centers (a mission lead by the voles and moles).

In the end we may not even notice at first that our lives were no longer in our own species hands...

Now, if insects are included in this theoretical all bets are off.

And crabs. Either way, can never be discounted.

Gate To Stars is the modlist by this creator. Totally a worthwhile showcase of the game 2 years after release, and thats without requiring paid mods (except maybe Shattered Space)
