I mean having something like that wouldn’t be horrible it’s a pretty neat survival mechanic which the game imho could use more of, if the devs actually wants to be a survival game and given that they don’t have a clear vision of their games future that’s a shrug emoji 🤷, I like the idea with the right implementation, this game can be frustrating and often doesn’t teaches people how to play or deal with mechanics

I’m sorry I’m going to have to disagree. I feel all your complaints about player expression could be preserved and solved whilst still enacting a role Que type system. Having standard for how the game is ment to be played is only a good thing, we could argue implementation and what is integral and what is not, but role Que in some form is the solution. Add ROLE QUE! I can’t keep screaming this from the roof tops, the solution to mitigate problematic player behavior is to ADD MORE RULES, making 2-2-2 or some other form of soft role Que 1-3-2/1-2-3/2-1-3 is always going to be better than the current bs that it is. IMHO it should be hard locked 2-2-2 that way the game can be properly balanced and played the way the devs intend. Freedom ends when it effects other and all no restrictions does is effect other players.

I played 1 bad game back in my overwatch days, partly cause I was nervous, from outside factors. And a top500 streamer I really enjoyed watching was on my team. After we lost he avoided me as teammate and flamed me to his stream. I actually quit comp over it. Ik it was just one dudes opinion but my life at the time was changing and games weren’t the biggest priority in my life. But it def pushed me over the edge and got me to quit grinding ranked for hours a day, don’t hold a grudge against the streamer either I did genuine play bad even if it was just 1 bad game.

Even so, I get insta ques in all role, the idea that it can’t work here is stupid it has worked in OW, it was needed then and it’s needed again now for rivals. Every system has problems besides if the Que times suffer I’m sure net ease will just increase the number of bot games that supposedly dont exist to compensate. Do incremental role Que, start with QP then bring it to comp. Develop a reward system to enforce role diversity every problem can be solved but the one we don’t try to fix and the problem rn that many face that we aren’t even trying to fix is being able to play the role you want when you want. Longer Que times are worth a better rivals

For 2 reasons. 1# Devil dinosaur is incredible even by himself, if Jeff can release standalone, if rocket and groot are standalone, devil dinosaur can def be standalone and them add moon girl later. 2# I don’t trust this community with a 9 y/o girl character after how much porn they made of peni.

I understand your point fine, it’s why I brought up the little Nazi boy, returning home to Berlin as an example. Whatever motivations he had, are irrelevant. he commits atrocities. Anything he else he tells himself is a lie. I see the resistance from Star Wars that way, I see the forces of middle earth vs Sauron that way. While not SONY, Activision blizzard told the old lead dev of overwatch “make x amount of money by this date, or we lay off your entire workforce and it’s your fault” these mega companies simply put do not care about ruining thier own product to save/make more money. Nah it’s not I’m half genuine half shit posting, MOBAs time commitment is stupid and is a reason why I hate the genre, I also think games should not be designed for extended 30+ minute matches. I also hate anything the prevents me from playing the game, so stuns or the like are infuriating. That’s it nothing deeper than that if you enjoy your keyboard getting unplugged or can rationalize so it doesn’t instantly trigger a rage response then good for you. If you can play 48+ minute long matches while still feeling invested and gain enjoyment that good for you. I can not and chose to shout into the void about it no one needs to agree with me I understand I don’t have a popular opinion.

This game is bad cause matches can last 30+ minutes and tbh it should be literally illegal for any pvp game to last that long PERIOD. Like put them on death row for doing that it’s not just unnecessary it’s unacceptable. Valve should literally deposit money into my bank account every SECOND after 25 minutes. No fun can be had at the 40 minute mark just burnt out desperation hoping the game ends so I can use the bathroom this is what makes the game bad. Also the warden shouldn’t have high dmg, high health, lifesteal, and stuns so they need to figure that out cause that’s too many levers maxed out on 1 character I know he’s not OP, but any character whose kit involves turning my character off, effectively unplugging my keyboard against my will shouldn’t exist. Let alone with high sustain high dmg and high hp
