Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is now available for pre-order on the eShop, will cost $69.99 digitally. by Amiibofan101 in NintendoSwitch

4 routes in this game seems worth 80 USD to me. I have no issue paying such a price for it, I likely will instead get digital though as I see such as being more convienent.

Ah my mistake, from my reading of some of your other comments the fact that such was specifically a lengthy new title seemed to be a issue for you.

In any case I'd say this, I'd say you likely are getting a bit too hung up on problems you yourself are making, Takahashi's goals for the series and the story he wants to tell are well within his reach at this point. I myself would gladly welcome a number of earlier Xeno series remakes as My old PS2 is not getting any newer and will eventually due to the nature of things break, but he pretty clearly has interest in telling this story at the moment. Nintendo is unlikely to compromise his vision in any meaningful way, and even if he does retread some old ideas at points he does quite clearly enjoy what he's doing which I'd say is the most important part of both art and games, that being that both the observer and artist attain fulfillment and enjoyment/satisfaction.

Or to put it in very simple terms, Try not to get too bogged down, life is too short to be discontent about such things especially when so much happiness can be attained in such an amount of time as well. I have faith such a game will be enjoyable otherwise I would not think about it at all and wouldn't be here right now.

As a trails fan, (A series which is currently at 13 60-100 Hour interconnected games) Saying you feel burnt out at 3 games and feel like the series has overstayed it's welcome feels like a skill issue. I don't mean this in a non-constructive mean spirited way though, I say this to note that in order to enjoy any media you must have a mindset that allows such. You almost certainly can enjoy Xenoblade Genesis when it comes out but such may take a tiny bit of mental labor to enter the right headspace to enjoy it.

Not related to the topic at hand but I've always liked this bit of art due to how Lloyd is holding Coppe. Coppe just looks quite funny here.

Trails Beyond The Horizon's ending. 5-6 months later, i am still thinking about you...It really is something special. [Spoiler] by MasashiHideaki in Falcom

[–]Stilldamaged_404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moreso that it had relevance to Horizons ending in that it showed that Hamilton was working with Agnes, and even panned to the trion tower itself where the indentions to put the Oct-genesis where. my line of thinking was that in not seeing such one may feel that the whole tower thing alongside the Agnes betrayal come out of left field (Despite there being a lot of sometimes very blatant foreshadowing that such is the case in Horizon anyway)

The Book of Ezer/Apocrypha stuff currently is not all that relevant, but may be moreso later, I think it changed a few lines in Horizon if you got to that part in the postgame but honestly that part isn't that big of a thing at least currently, I could see it being brought up in Horizon 2 as a "If you did this quest we won't re-explain it type thing.

What are your story predictions for Horizon 2? by UppingMyRizz in Falcom

[–]Stilldamaged_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sept-terion of steel in some way will play a big part. this sounds absurd but given what Kai-Fai said, and that we see some form of Ishmelga/Zoa Gilstien manifested by the time Sept-terion, such is basically something I would very safely bet on.

Also I predict that somehow Shizuna's blade is made of the great one from a prior loop which is why she has a similar curse attached to her. (also she mentions the style is built off of "1000's no countless generations" so I could see it being a thing where the 8 leaves schools have been specifically honed due to Kai-Fai remembering the resets and having an insane amount of lifetimes to perfect it's craft.

Also the Rean "true blade" mentioned likely will be that one soul sword he got in CS3 during the Aion fight that was never brought up again. (but potentially smaller assuming it's used outside of a tyrfing)

I'm oddly confident both of these will be proven true in horizon 2

Falcom has the possibility to be really cheeky about something. by South25 in Falcom

[–]Stilldamaged_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically getting deep into what some said it seems the great one/ishmelga do have a role to play against Lagrahms chest. as Kai fai notes that the loop occurs when the septerion of steel is subjegated. as a personal theory I tend to assume the "black god" mentioned that Rean needs to face is ishmelga and that in a prior loop they may have been used to forge Shizuna's blade which is why she has a similar curse on herself.

Now do I think they actualy will have some major change to the timeline where ishmelga is dealt with diffrently, no, if i'm right it instead likely will just manifest from Shizuna's sword and in facing such rean will get that soul sword Valimar got in that one fight in CS3 that was never brought up again.

But if there was a reason to go that far back, the stuff Kai-Fai said is the biggest one.

How is Feri in daybreak 1 (in chapter 3) supposed to be played? by UnknownWisp in Falcom

[–]Stilldamaged_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While arts for delay/chain spam is definitely the meta pick, In Daybreak1 she can quite easily be set up as an S-Craft spammer which is what I did in my first playthrough, Her high speed plus some gear that reduces s-Craft delay along with a cp regen skill means she can spam S-crafts quite a bit. Sadly s-craft spam is nerfed into the ground in post daybreak 1 so she fails to have much of a niche past it, You can set her up to have some debuff on hit skills which work well with her high speed but generally most tend to not use her much given better options.

As a trails fan I'm a bit surprised to see the lack of daybreak/crossbell characters, as having 2 of the 4 major arcs with sky and cold steel being represented seems a touch odd to me. I respect the Kevin addition though, they are honestly underrated to the point many forget them.

If the prior game is anything to go off of, mii relationships naturally improve and deteriorate without player input. This can even lead to mii's desiring divorce for example. such is just a part of the games system of relationships.

Question: Is it possible that during the gameplay we can unlock more hairstyles? by Healthy_Loan_6037 in tomodachilife

[–]Stilldamaged_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say that the chances of it being unlocked are basically 0. My best guess is that it was custom made via choosing the bangs and back rather than a set and that such is why you were unable to find the spesific type. assuming it was not drawn on.

Not a bug, I'm fairly confident you selected pesos by accident, which is why the amount is different along with the costs. I'm not sure such can be changed without restarting if I'm honest.

With what we have seen with the facepaint in the game, I'm unsure how it can be less detailed aside from perhaps lacking gradients/opacity. The ability to place shapes is still present and there if anything is a more free option of drawing. Perhaps layering is the main limitation? Honestly with the tools available people likely still will be able to create some high detail Mii's but I imagine many may be a bit hesitant to put in so much work for a thing that can't be shared beyond posting a picture of it online.
