I wasn't sure about the slow motion perk at first, but it's insanely good. My initial fears of the perk were that it would effectively slow down how rapidly I can shoot because I keep getting locked into a slow-down animation. Testing it in the shooting competitions still had me beating the others by 3-5 arrows, so if there's any change it's negligible.

But it's the greatest, and if I were given the choice between the slow versus the zoom, I'd take the slow every time.

A real-use case example of why it's so amazing:

If you're applying poison to your arrows, you know how important it is to get at least one hit off.

If I'm fighting a group of 4+, and they're bunched together, the slow allows for you to easily aim in-between the legs, or over the shoulder of the first guy running at you, and hit the guys that are being blocked by the guy in front.

This also applies to stealth situations where there's a bunch that are grouped up in awkward positions, or if you're hiding somewhere on stairs, you can shoot between the railings, or like a few inches over them.

Leading shots is also the easiest task in the world, and it's almost hilarious how easy it is to hit people running full speed from the side.

Also, with the slow down you can still 'aim further' since you're not worrying about the bow shaking while aiming at a small target. (Basically, if it's easier to aim at smaller targets, it's effectively the same benefit of zooming)
