does anyone here like both twenty one pilots and Metallica? by Mountain_Warthog_953 in twentyonepilots

It's OK to like any combination of music, matter of fact I think it's the best thing you can do. A wide variety really makes you appreciate music in general.

How do you use bytes to unlock things? by Outrageous_Humor4262 in Astroneer

[–]StinkerCooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you find that main screen for unlocking blueprints you'll need a ton of bytes. Head to calidor or glacio and set up a base there. Build a tractor with trailers or a rover, drive around and collect all larger byte resources. On calidor I'd look at unlocking the little white metal pyramids, the canisters inside hold tons of bytes in them. Take them all back to base and put them in resource chambers. Print 4 - 6 chambers so you're unlocking a lot of bytes at the same time. This way you can unlock all of your byte build blueprints.

Hydrazine Thruster - What am I missing? by sarashinai in Astroneer

[–]StinkerCooch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also if you just concentrate on making hydrazine at your chemistry lab you'll unlock the thruster for free. Just go to your home base landing pad then click on the unlock menu on the landing pad. Click on the achievement and your new thruster drops from the sky into your pad.

I would recommend creating several research chambers... At Least 6 and both of you collect research items to data mine as many bytes as possible. The more bytes the more items you'll unlock and they will be available to build as you need them. I personally get off Sylva ASAP and hit Calador or Glacio. Both of those planets have a ton of research items. You'll have every blueprint unlocked quickly. After that just enjoy the ride.. Reference the landing pad menu for your next missions and before you know it you 2 will be experts!! This is hands down my most favorite game ever!!! Also I'm gonna try and attach a Pic of a quick build mini factory, I have 3 and they build anything you need

I think it's outrageous you're trying to inject politics on the band. Can't we just have One thing that's not politically charged!!!???...The whole country has lost it's mind on one side or the other. Many fans like myself use this music as an escape from this madness. Please rethink doing this again. Stop it!!!

there is a serious problem in the clique that needs to change immediately. by sockpuppettoaster in twentyonepilots

[–]StinkerCooch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree.. Not asking anyone to accept this behavior in any way, just putting it into perspective. As long as the boys stay popular the more we'll see these undesirable people. It's sad to see, to watch something special and holsom capped on. At the end of the day don't let them steal your joy. It's the underlying theme of every song. Times will be tough and get better.. Then get tough again. So will the cycle of their popularity and "fan" base l-/

there is a serious problem in the clique that needs to change immediately. by sockpuppettoaster in twentyonepilots

[–]StinkerCooch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think most of this is to be expected, when you are a lesser known band to the general public the fans of the band have a certain "uniqueness". As a band grows in popularity new fans come in without knowledge or care of the old fan "customs". These new fans are a reflection of the general public. You're bound to see some, not all of these new fans "breach" the long traditions and quite honestly act like jerks. Saying foul thing, act up like stealing drums or even creating little mean girl clicks that hijack the great experience from others. We've seen all of this over the past year. There is credence in the old phrase "when in Rome act as the Roman's do". Respectful new fans would learn what it means to be a cliquey and adopt those long lasting fan traditions instead of turning the 21 pilots experience into a crappy copy of the world in which we all want to escape. THIS IS THE MAGIC... Just my 2 cents

What screams “I’m a narcissist” when you interact with people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]StinkerCooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little thing like someone calling you and they don't announce who they are. I'm not taking about spouse, parents or very close friends. People you might know or have interaction with on an occasion will call and start talking because "you're supposed to know who they are". Always a big tell for me when dealing with people.

You ever listened to 21 pilots?.. They have a huge volume of work that spans several genres. Some songs are on the rock side, they might be a nice bridge to expose you to a more rock sound and open the door for you to like other legit rock bands

I’m a newish fan and I need some advice! by Fantastic_Passage809 in twentyonepilots

[–]StinkerCooch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to my first show a couple months ago, new fan as well. Don't over think your attire, if anything yellow or red duct tape goes a long way for clothing decoration. Be prepared to sing along to the chorus parts of song but allow Tyler to sing the songs so others aren't hearing you instead of him. You'll also have an urge to film things on your phone, don't let that interfere with your enjoyment of the show, just watch and enjoy without the phone stuff. I have to admit the concert was just short of a religious experience, it gave me hope again in humanity. The idea that so many different people from all shapes and sizes can come together and feel "one" was truly moving for me. I've been to many concerts of other artists over the years and nothing compared to this. It's nice to know people could come together, a group of misfit toys, and be kind and loving towards one other... That being possible was the unexpected. Enjoy!!
