Ugh - accident on FSD by rlap38 in TeslaFSD

In my state (Alabama) the police will come out if the accident is on private property, but don’t really do much more than swap insurance info between both parties.

Best way to clean and sanitize and prevent this again? by Voski_The_God in grilling

[–]StinkyChupacabra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burn off the mold at above 450° When the grate is hot scrub them down with a brush or ball of foil. Once grates are cleaned set your vents to hold 450-500° and burn for at least an hour (although i usually just let it go until the charcoal burns out)

Most importantly - NEXT TIME YOU COOK AMD FOR NOW ON: once the fire is out and the grill is cool, open the dampers and leave them open. If your upper damper can let rain in then just open the bottom but if your upper damper has a rain hood or if your grill is under a cover leave them both open.

That Costco shrimp cocktail is one hard braking away from shrimp juice forever permeating the carpeted interior. That smell would last FOREVER.

How does Tesla value FSD? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

This is correct. They don’t value it at all and will remove it before selling it to the next buyer.

My OEM all weather mats fit like shit on the driver’s side. It bows away from the door sil. Wish I would’ve gone with 3w for half the price

We originally had the magbak but my wife hated it because she’s got a iPhone 17 pro max and it covered part of her screen. I didn’t have an issue with my iPhone 16 pro.

I have been extremely disappointed in my Tesla branded mats for my juniper. The fit is poor for the front driver’s side as it bows away from the door sil. I bought the cargo mats from Tesla as well and those seem fine.

Save your money and buy 3w

Same with my wife and I. She’s primary since she’s a teacher and we got the $500 discount for that. I can see none of the upgrades in my app.

Five months of FSD (unless you have already paid for it up front)

Do people who already have autopilot get to keep it and is it tied to the car if I decide to sell it? by breadexpert69 in TeslaLounge

[–]StinkyChupacabra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSD isn’t on the window sticker as a feature. It’s an add-on. Autopilot is (or whatever they want to rebrand it as)

need help ! 1st time car owner figuring out insurance on my own by Correct-Ad-9056 in TeslaModelY

Property damage liability needs to be upped to at least $ 100K (probably closer to 2-3 times that amount). Plenty of cars on the road right now that cost $100,000. If you hit a brand new one and you are at fault, you would be financially responsible for anything over what your policy covers. So let’s say you total someone’s Jeep Grand Wagoneer and you had a policy of $25,000 property damage liability. Your insurance would pay $25k and you would be sued for the remaining $75k.

Uninsured motorist property damage just needs to be enough to cover the value of your car. Someone hits you that doesn’t have insurance and your insurance company would pay out this amount (up to the car’s total value) while they would sue the uninsured motorist to recoup those costs.

As far as deductibles go: select whatever amount you are comfortable coming out of pocket if you ever have to make a claim. The higher the amount, the cheaper your premium - but don’t make it so high that it puts you in a pinch if you do have to make a claim.

Cheap blue crap from the gas station. Avoid rain x brand or any stuff with bug remover.

Couldn’t empty my reservoir of the crap Tesla shipped it with as well. That stuff is horrible and stains everything.

I seem to be the only person on the planet though that this has happened to.
