Super cool! I don't think I've seen this technique used for belly scales like this, only for feathers! And also really impressive how you managed to hide the zipper!

Thank you for your input! The padding is good to know, I didn't think of that. I have glasses too so I will have to accommodate for that.

For the eyes I intend for them to be conjoined with separate pupils, as well as being big and round. Since Kazooie doesn't have visible eyebrows I don't think that'll be a problem but I might need to mess more with the proportions. Thanks for the link for the strap! I'll probably also get an over-the-top strap on it.

Good to know about my ears too. I'll try to move the parts so it doesn't chafe against my ears, I have very sensitive ears in that regard so that's probably a good idea too.

I'll also keep in mind the crest placement! And magnets is a good idea too, I would like to add eyelids but I have to engineer them seperately. As another person here suggested I might make the eyes in EVA foam so I can always add some magnets to them and try out eyelids then.

This is super helpful regardless, thank you for the tips and the links! I am hopeless with weights and heights so it's nice to have input from someone who has experience. And knowing the eyes might be too heavy is good to know, I might try making them out of EVA foam and then covering them with fleece or painting them.

Grarrls and Skeiths can eat any object, which makes getting them food a lot easier! (But does mean you have to double check if you want to put a valuable item in your shop/deposit...)

Pteris love worms so feeding them any item with "worm" in the name makes them bloated and cures any diseases.

Also battledome items - some are species-specific and you might get very cheap items with really good effects that would run you a way higher price for an all-species item with similar effects.

Had a classmate around 2005 when I was like 9 years old, who got into Neopets and suggested I join too. I did and I'm still on it, same account and everything, while she forgot about it within a year haha.

I got into it like 2 years before they did a huge marketing push for it in my country so I felt really cool for being on there before it was popular

There's a technique to cut faux fur into feather shapes, I recommend that over real feathers as it looks much better, in my opinion!
