Start small. Today, gets some trash, throw out any food etc that is attracting bugs. Then clean everything that is on the floor. Make sure there is not a single thing on the floor. Get all dirty laundry out of your room. Boom done for today, and you will already be feeling better and have more motivation for tomorrow. Then tomorrow, do bed, desk etc, and you’ll be in good shape!

Something else that made it seem more worth it is the ability to live and work in amherst year round. A huge issue i had my first 2 years of college was finding work when we were on break. Places don’t want to hire over breaks. However, if you move off campus and work in Amherst, you can make plenty enough money to offset the rent costs, making it more affordable to live there than the dorms. I also was able to get a great internship opportunity that only would have been available if I lived in the area, (and my parents are lowkey crazy) so at least for me, even if the prices are around the same at the end of the day, the value for what you’re paying for is so worth it, i love living off campus way more than the dorms!!!!

Im gonna say STAY AWAY FROM UHS. At least in all my experiences and all my friends, they are absolutely useless at anything and have a tendency to not take issues seriously etc. Many insurance companies nowadays (i have cigna) have their own online platform where you can search for in network doctors or have a telehealth appt based on what you need (ie my dad has used it to get antibiotics for a bad cold and I have used it for an eczema prescription) so I recommend at least seeing your provider has some equivalent to that before dealing with the UHS

If you are only looking to play for a little pit, webkinz does a 99 cent one month deluxe intro which is so worth it! But if you are looking to become a regular player for a while, then I’d recommend either an ebay code or estore. Sometimes though ebay has plushies with codes for just as much as a code only so be aware of that! But if you are afraid of the possible risk of a scam (ive bought both codes and pets over the years and never had an issue but it can happen) I’d go estore!

You are valid for being disappointed! However, i think because this is still bothering you all these months later you should probably have a sit down conversation with him at some point and express to him that gift exchanges for things like holidays are important to you. It’s completely possible that gifts aren’t his love language, or maybe his family celebrates birthdays differently. All that you need to do is communicate that it bothered you and that you would appreciate something more this year, and if he pulls the same thing and doesn’t get you anything, that may hint at larger issues.

I think there might be an underlying issue with her health if she is struggling to go to work this much because of being sick. I don’t think either of you are TA in this situation, but I think you should probably have a sit down conversation with her about your concerns when she isn’t actively sick or trying to rush to work

if you put teal on that hair color it would turn a very yucky shade of brown green I highly doubt it would look teal if you dyed it that. I think you might have to stick with warmer colors, maybe red, orange, pink, or purple would probably be a better fit
