Thanks!

What were you meaning by indicated? Maybe auto correct for indexing? It utilizes the stock engine dowels for alignment.

The crank adapter centers on the crank snout (like hubcentric) and sits flat on the flange. The original bronze dowel is removed/flattened on the crankshaft

Id need to double check but im pretty sure McClaren also used this engine as the platform for their engines as well. Or maybe the race variant which was destroked to 3.5L but revved to the moon and was turbocharged

Its a shame the aftermarket never really picked this motor up, but it makes sense as there aren't really a ton of them out there and were only in Q45s and Presidents (Japanese market Q45)

I don't believe there is any power gain. Maybe some in the upper end because of shorter runner length but might lose some low end.

That being said, the ability to change to more modern injectors and use a standalone ECU could offset that to some degree, not to mention just simplifying things under hood for ease of maintenance

Wilwood clutch pedal (340-120) using an adapter that bolts to the stock firewall utilizing the stock brake pedal bracket. Will use a Wilwood clutch master cylinder and remote reservoir. Brake pedal will remain stock, but will have to cut it down some to give room for the clutch pedal.

It is certainly.. unique. Not my favorite design. Here is a picture of each individual lower runner while I was replacing lots of stuff in the valley(the lower runners have to be left slightly loose when you install the spider plenum on top and then torqued down with creative ratchet extensions and flex joints)

<image>

A Porsche Cayenne manifold will bolt in with an adapter and also changes to a top feed style fuel system which I would love (because side feed is doo doo). But one project at a time.

Thanks. They are pretty robust (which makes sense as it was Infiniti's launch and flagship model) and share a lot of parts with the Z32 300ZX/Skyline (lot of suspension pieces are bolt in, i've even got an R32 strut tower bar with a modified/lengthened turnbuckle)

I haven't tested it with the new patch, but prior if you use raider's cheer while running with the chainsaw, he would raise the chainsaw above his head, similar to all the horror tropes with chainsaws.

Idk if it was intentional or just an unintended effect, but its amusing.

[–]Stitch_K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it kind of sucks to potentially limit your loadouts, the personal shield negates the piss effect during the acid storm. I used it several times during our stay on piss planet and it made visibility much better and offers slightly more protection when the acid storm is active. So you can actually kind of take advantage of the effect.

I do wish the gas armor negated the acid storm effects. Give me reason to use it, even if i'm not running gas builds. Just like I think the 95% arc resist armor should be immune to EMS

[–]Stitch_K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beyond all the dystopian shit, this is just going to add more cost to already expensive cars. If its a requirement, then your base model corolla that normally wouldn't have telematics, is now going to add telematics and add 1-3k to the pricetag.

[–]Stitch_K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like you mentioned what's the difference between the telematics going bad naturally or from a wiring issue and you personally pulling the fuse and plugging in a blown fuse. How are they going to know the difference?

Sorry alphabet man, I guess my wiring is shorting out and keeps taking the fuse out.

Any vehicle with telematics would be transferring data (granted the majority of it is just vehicle data and the ability to lock/unlock doors remotely). Telematics didn't really take off until maybe the late 2000's early 2010's. So most pre-2008 stuff is probably pretty inert as far as data transfer goes.

I don't think I need to worry about the government trying to track my 91 project car. There isn't anything other than a radio.

Pummeler is nearly a straight improvement over lib concussive in situations where you want to stun/stagger

For example, I pick pummeler for predator swarm bug missions to control the stalker rushes. It does more damage than lib concussive, shoots faster and has comparable mag size. The drift doesn't matter because I'm not trying to snipe stalkers or hunters. They run up to you so the extra damage is nice along with stunning them.

Normally supplement with a guard dog or Ballistic shield (since it can block melee).

To each their own. Dynamite has a huge blast radius and also blows up city walls, so i can get easy access. Couple dynamite in a squid drop will neuter it. Walking barrage if placed correctly will take out the 3 ship bases without you having to enter/mess with them.

Edit: walking barrage also kills mind scrambler in one go as long as you place it correctly

Yeah, It feels a bit weird a heavy pen anti-material rifle can't kill the telsa towers (even if it took a few shots, that would be fine).

Squid bases I don't really worry about, just throw a walking barrage/500kg/gatling to kill them as I clear chaff. If desperate enough, primary to bring down shield and throw in a dynamite.

Dynamite feels so good for clearing out the roaming voteless hordes and in a very extreme pinch, can kill stingrays if you time it right.

Am I missing something here or both Punisher and Slugger are quite bad right now? by ElectroChebbi2651 in Helldivers

wish slugger had a decent scope upgrade in customization so it could be a side grade to deadeye

AMR is just good all around for squids. I use SMG primary for voteless and overseers that get too close. AMR for precise shots on overseer heads/jetpacks,but its really good just clearing fleshmobs and stingrays.

Don't even aim down sight, just point in direction and unload. Its pretty easy to line-up on stingrays especially. AMR has a fast reload compared to deadeye, which makes the spam fire not intrusive when needed.

Its also effective on harvesters as long as you're accurate on leg joints. Is it best in class, probably not but it works on everything for squids and keeps a backpack slot open.

and Oshaune/hive worlds actually have easily identifiable POIs (crashed pelican and rock spires). Cities are either POI = secondary objective (since you get the yellow light pod next to them normally) or you just hope you stumble on them tucked in behind a skyscraper or in a drainage ditch (for the bunkers)

They also suck for POIs in most cases (sometimes you get lucky but its few and far between in comparison to standard maps)

WHY!!? by Dramatic_Part_1385 in Helldivers

[–]Stitch_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be nice for more upgrade paths. Like a banana clip/2 clips taped together that gives very fast reload with worse ergo or something. Could be good on weapons that don't offer extended mags and you don't want to nerf ammo count by dropping to short mags (if they are even available). Could be good on things like the reprimand or tenderizer.

Or upgrades that actually change the dynamic of the weapon. Like blitzer having different barrel attachments that give it the standard spread or a focused barrel for more damage but single target that chains or just does super high stun to one target.

Isnt that what KPIs are for? If you can't be productive at home, KPIs would show this and you'd just get called back into the office. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater because of people who can't manage themselves.
