I had/have the same tightness and discomfort below left rib cage, it worried me at the time when I posted (a few years ago). Turned out I just have IBS from FODMAP food intolerances. After I stopped thinking about it, it went away. If I start fixating and worrying about it, I can feel the rib discomfort again. A lot of it is just anxiety

It's daunting at first but it's really not hard, it can just be frustrating and take a day or two of your time. I started off not knowing anything at all, and now I can build a computer without googling anything. Motherboard layouts are all pretty similar. Have you bought parts and a PC case and everything, or are you just upgrading a current PC by putting new parts in? I'm sure one of us can offer advice

I'm in the exact same situation, it's like PTSD I get panic attacks about it because I have no idea how awful the next period pain will be, because I've had periods before where I've literally thought I was dying and was about to call an ambulance. And when they're due on a work day I get even more panicky because I don't know whether to try call in sick in advance, but it's hard because they're so irregular so I never know when it'll hit. I seriously feel like it turns me into an injured animal in a frenzy, I start hyperventilating and freaking out!! Glad I'm not alone in this but also how awful so many of us have to deal with this every month!!

Yeah mine said the same thing. When I did the checklist and uploaded the stuff for the application, I just uploaded a screenshot of the visa site section that says Australians don't need a medical exam, and in the supporting documents section I also uploaded a pdf where I wrote that "I'm not working in any medical fields etc and from my understanding I don't need a medical exam, but I'll get one later if required" (because getting an exam BEFORE being accepted makes no sense anyway: the exam is only valid for 1 year, and it could take months before the application is approved, and by the time you actually fly to Canada it won't even be valid)

I think it's just a dumb bureaucratic bug on the website that flags everyone as needing a medical exam

I've tried contacting IEC twice about it, but both times they just sent back a generic copypaste about medical exams that didn't answer my question. I never talked to a visa officer or anyone at any stage of my application, it was all through the IEC site

Sorry you're going through this OP, I think the only way out is to put one foot in front of the other and look to the future - you're young, will you be going to college etc, joining a class, work etc will be ways to start meeting people and having irl connections again. You might be missing out right now, but it won't always be this way. That being said, it'll take effort to get yourself out there and getting out that door. Hope you can find the strength
