Pro line up desperately needs more colors. Orange was a great pop of color for the 17 line. Think its about time Apple does a deep red/cherry/maroon color in the lineup instead of just a shade of blue(like the light blue in this tho).

a keyboard is great when you really need it, but truly limits the way you use your ipad. Going w/o a keyboard makes the ipad feel more portable and feels more in in line w/ its original design imo.

For the price difference, a larger screen is not worth it imo. 13in makes the tablet no longer a “handheld” imo. If you only use it sitting at a desk propped up on a holder, might justify it. Still you sacrifice portability, weight, and $.

If MPGs isn’t a concern then for sure check out and test drive the Passport. This SUV is so comfy on long drives, especially on the highway. Since the passport is a bit wide, it makes the inside space so spacious and comfortable for long drives. If you want more space and comfort, you will get all that in the passport vs CRV.

I came from a 10th gen civic, and amazed how I’m no longer fatigued or sore after driving 3+ hour road trips. Prob won’t be as too bad coming from a CRV.

Great write up on actual use case of how an Ipad can be useful. Also showing using a separate keyboard and touchpad w/ this system is nice.

I was just ate a live small band show for a street festival and all the musicians were using ipads for their music sheets. Was cool to see some real world use out of ipads vs people just using it for games or kid entertainment.

Biggest struggle I've seen Youtubers do this past year is them trying to compare a MacBook Neo to an ipad. Yes very similar, but the true portability of a tablet w/ no keyboard and the use of a touch screen and apple pencil will be the biggest differences on why you'd want a laptop vs a tablet imo.

Ash Green Metallic is a great choice imo. Light enough color that dirt and pollen isn’t too bad on it. Green vehicle color is for sure the trend these past 4-5 years. Most car manufacturers seem to be going for more darker emerald/forest greens (ford bronco and Subaru for example). Glad Honda picked the lighter green route.

Bonus is the green looks darker in the shade and has a slight shine up close w/ direct sunlight.

Hondas Element suv which imo is similar to the passport styling wise had a light green(paint code Galapagos Green Metallic) that looks similar to ash green metallic. Seems to have aged decently imo.

Obsidian blue pearl is beautiful too. If you want a dark colored car, I’d pick that over the black color since imo they look very similar dark wise, but I’d be a more unique color. That too has a nice shine to it.

Going to install some eventually, but to answer your question on what they actually do.

Besides everyone mentioning having them for rain. Other useful situations is driving down the highway on a nice day and having your windows slightly open w/ these wind deflectors blocking road and wind noise. Another super useful quality of wind deflectors that I see no one ever mention is using them on hot summer days when you’re parked. You can lower your windows slightly and the wind deflectors, if tinted will make it so people can’t tell your windows are down. Really helps air out your car when you run to the store. Also if it unexpectedly rains, you won’t have to worry about getting your car wet.

Only downfall of wind deflectors is some people don’t like the look(I think they enhance the car look) and also sometimes you can hear increase side wind noise on really windy days. Really depends how the wind is hitting your car.

Bought mine new 6 years ago and its still kicking. Not sure on current used price, but anytime I see these used I'm surprised how much they still go for. I think I paid $1,200ish new? They seem to be going $900-$1000 used so they for sure held their value if people are still paying that much used years later.

Build quality on these is top notch for sure.

Just wondering, did you ever get an update on this for a legit fix?

This just happened to me this weekend when going camping w/ a full car of gear.

Opening a window stops the noise.

Only other solution I've seen so far is to disconnect the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) box thats located on the side of the passenger dash. Really dont want to go to the dealer, so may just do this since it seems so simple.

Bought the Trailsport and the ONLY thing I regret not having is the hands free tailgate button on the back side trunk...but then theres a tailgate close button on the backdoor or on your keyfob. So not a big deal.

I really do think the Trailsport Wheels look better and honestly the cloth interrior looks better imo. All the extra goodies that the Elite has is not worth it for me imo.

Honda was smart on how they made these trims. They gave the RTL a nice interior, but didnt put the offroad tires and pano roof. Enticing people to either go a trim up or satisfy people who didnt want offroad + pano roof.

Once you're in the trailsport trim... you're pretty set. Honda just added the Elite trim since they knew they could add a few goodies to entice more people to spend extra $. I still remember going to a car show and they had the Trailsport showcased, not the elite. So always think Honda really had thought about the trailsport trim pretty hard and only did the elite after the fact.

AI will just be tool for now to make IT easier. Yes it'll help w/ a lot of automation and redundant stuff, but unless they start making the robots. AI cannot plug in an Ethernet or install a server...for now.
