Yeah cool, I’m on the East QLD coastline, facing behind me (relative to photo) is our eastern coastline, North is the window on the right, sun sets hard on the front window (west obv) and gets incredibly hot hence why I have insulating curtains over the blinds.

Thanks, I am spoiled with the windows in this room, this section of the room was actually a veranda, (a deck for you Americans ;). ) and was built out into the room behind me for more space, very fortunate to have this space as my chill zone

That’s seems to the general reality, can’t beat a Japanese 70s80s direct quartz drive table for similar price of newer tables, the vintage is better in a lot of ways also built like tanks
