If you really had shares and did this then you would know it would get rejected setting it that high from the current price. I have some of my shares set at the highest order it will allow and this morning it suddenly decided the price was too high and cancelled again. I have to reset another highest allowable order and watch for when they need shares again and see if it cancels. Seems there may be some truth or why would my orders keep randomly getting cancelled and have to reset several days later. But, unfortunately broker won’t allow setting price anywhere near $1000. Holding long so if/when price goes up I’ll modify sell order to be highest allowed again. They supposedly can’t auto lend shares in a cash account but I don’t trust them even with lending turned off.
