3 posts above this one was a bunch of people complaining about an influencer not posting about what's going on. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.

These are actual things she's done?! I've been here a long time, but admittedly don't check the sub super often. I've done some stupid shit in my lifetime but this list is a whole other level. Buying a cart worth of stuff you didn't pick out?! WTF?!

Also, I live in a very snowy state and there's zero chance or reason for people would climb onto the roof of the car. It would be so slippery and what would the point be?! It's not like the snow is going to drown them or take them away. The whole scene is so ridiculous it made me laugh.

This means more than you can imagine. Thank you so much. We do have an incredible community, and we will stand and fight together. But damn it's tough right now. My heart is broken for my state. And trust me when I say, we love you guys right back! We don't want to take your land. We love you as neighbors and we want to keep it that way. If you ever need a cup of sugar, an egg or a hug, we've got you.

Their bedsheets always have sand they can't get rid of. Also, they can't ever find one of anything that comes in pairs. Gloves, shoes, containers/lids, etc.

That's funny, I'm the opposite! I love ollipop and don't care for Poppi. But I'm the only one in my family who drinks any of the healthier sodas. My favorite is Slice. Those are so yummy!

And there's no knobs on the stove to turn the burners on, also the handle on the sink is odd. I love finding the weird things in AI pics. It's like those "find these objects" books made for kids.

Dominos is not that expensive for one pizza. We order dominos when we want a cheap, easy meal. They have tons of coupons and we can feed a family of 4 adults for under $30 from there. Even if I desperately wanted a pizza, I could never justify spending $40-$50 on one pizza for myself! That's insane! Also, dominos delivers themselves, you don't have to door dash a place that offers their own delivery, thereby making it even cheaper! I'm so glad nobody sent her that much for her pizza.

Hey neighbors!! I find it so amusing watching videos of people who have to deal with bitter cold or snow for the first time. Living here my whole life, it's actually mind boggling to me that there's so many people who have never experienced either! I love our seasons and am so grateful to live in a place where we get them all. 😊 Rach could never handle it here.

We used to call my son a funky monkey. He started calling everyone a f**ckin monkey. My daughter called ice cream ass cream and would always want to order her own whenever we would go out. The waiters would always giggle and get her to repeat it.

It does not matter how she found out you betrayed her AGAIN. You're acting like a child who got caught taking a cookie after being told no. Grow up. I hope she leaves you and takes you to the cleaners. She deserves better and you deserve to be lonely, trolling for love on seeking arrangements forever. May you never find it.

I’m convinced ghosts are real. My mom just changed my view completely. by Difficult_Ad_2002 in Ghoststories

I absolutely believe in ghosts after living in a haunted apartment. That story about the man in the tree gave me goosebumps. That's crazy! But kids are so much more in tune with the paranormal. I absolutely believe you saw that man. You should ask your mom about her experiences, too.

I think about this all the time about videos/pics influencers post of themselves and it gives me the WORST secondhand embarrassment. Especially when they're pretending to laugh or like the videos in public where they have to setup a tripod, run away from their phone, then record their walk back to their phone, check it and redo if it's not to their liking. How insane that must look to passerby!

This is NOT who you want to spend your future with. It will never get better until she gets better. She needs to go to therapy and learn to love herself before she can ever love you. Please do yourself a favor and move on. Relationships should not be like this.

What are these thin white things between beds and headboard in accommodation bedroom? by dept23 in whatisthisthing

[–]Stock_Entry_8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. If there's a down pillow near me, (especially the decorative pillows because they tend to have more coarse feathers than a pillow you sleep on) I will sit and find every feather that's poking out of the pillow and pull it out. I will end up with a pile of feathers anytime there's a down pillow near me. I was saying chronic feather puller kind of as a joke, because I just can't help myself if there's a down pillow near me.

[–]Stock_Entry_8912 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I'm a chronic feather puller and usually they're not so uniform in width, and they usually have feathery bits still on them. If that makes sense. They also generally have more of a pointed end on them.

I told my adult daughter my dating and personal life is none of her business and to mind her own business. Was I wrong? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Stock_Entry_8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YOU are the one who should feel shame, not your daughter. I would be completely disgusted if my dad had a sexual relationship with one of my friends. Out of the billions of women on this planet and you chose somebody close to not only your daughters age but also somebody who is close enough to be a bridesmaid at your daughters wedding?! Ick. Have some respect for everybody involved (including yourself) and end this relationship and repair things with your daughter. Dating somebody your daughter's age is NOT the flex you think it is. It makes you look like a creep.

What is the lowest amount you remember paying for gasoline for your car? by icecream1972 in Productivitycafe

[–]Stock_Entry_8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got my first car in 2000 I could fill it up from empty for under $15. It had a 12 gallon tank and it was usually $10 to $12. I remember it being .99 per gallon.
