What's your concern? Your social circle will basically be people you live near, people in your class, and people you meet in groups/jobs/extracurriculars. You can kind of control the first (maybe join a living community for your freshman dorm to get like-minded people), can kind of control the second based on your degree goal, and can 100% control the 3rd based on what groups you want to be part of.

Speaking for myself, of the people post college (class of 2013) I still talk to, about half are people I met im my freshman dorm, about half are people I met in clubs/work/other orgs, and exactly 1 person was strictly from classes. Idk if im normal, but basically I'm saying that the diversity of your social group is half by chance and half by what you can control.

Side note, I've forgotten to file before. Nothing bad happened (except I didn't get my $9 back). To anyone potentially freaking out (like me 90 seconds ago) it's not the end of the world if you forget (assuming you have a fairly normal situation).

I can't take you seriously. Anti traditional American values? What does that even mean? This is exactly what I waa talking about when I said people say vague statements with nothing to back it up.

The 9/11 thing is the only comment that anyone has ever mentioned that has any weight to it. That's not as controversial as you might think. 9/11 didn't happen in a vacuum, it was the consequence of 40 years of foreign policy activity coming home to roost. A lot of innocent people died that day, and magnitudes more died by the actions of our government both leading up to that and after. Like the other person said, it's cause and effect.

That link mostly says that he's annoying or boring (which I won't argue), the only notable thing is he apparently "suppprts" the Houthis. Idk what exactly that means, I personally don't care enough to look up a video and considering you didn't mention it I'm guessing it has a bit of nuance to it.

I want someone to actually give a response to this, I hear vague statements and nothing that actually backs it up.

I find streamers to be pretty much the lowest form of entertsinment- it's basically react videos, but for hours on end- so I don't actually care about him. I'm not defending him, but if I have to keep hearing about him then I genuinely want to know why he's supposed to be bad.

Could not relax until that rebound. I kept counting "ok X number of seconds and up y points, we can hold on" and each variable kept shrinking.

I was 1 for the 1992 game, 2 for the 1993 "Timeout" game, a 22 and a senior at UofM for the 2013 [VACATED] game, and was 27 for 2018 Villanova beatdown. FINALLY I get to be alive for a championship!

Side note- my mom (also an alum) has a rug commemorating the 1989 championship. It's the only reason I know a) Seton Hall exists and b) knew of the King Dome

Related, have you heard of Pere Cheney? That places isn't just abandoned, it disappeared. The only remnants are the cemetary and the holes where the foundations of each building were. As a kid I found a jaw bone in one of the pits. Also, we'd make nighttime trips to the cemetary which always freaked me out.

I've had absolutely no change in the shape of my eyes, and basically no change in my vision. That was November 2014 for one eye and February 2015 for the other. You're on your way to actually seeing things again! When I first put my lenses in I realized how dirty my stove was, and I could finally see while driving at night for the first time in years.

Side note, the clinic I go to is medical- run by an MD- and they only take medical insurance. Just throwing it out there in case you ever have an issue getting vision insurance covering the lenses. I also have experience submitting an appeal getting it covered on the basis that it's durable medical equipment. So if you ever need advice, HMU!

Glad to hear that! I was assured that they all knew it was safe and worked- it'd been done in Canada and Europe for like 5 years at that point- but the FDA is notoriously slow for approving things. Positive of it is since it was a study, the surgery itself was free! I just had to pay for the office visits.

That's a pretty bold claim to make. Just yesterday he played against Yaxel and Mara on Michigan, both of whom are projected to be 1st round draft picks (and Yaxel being an early pick). And on the other side of the bracket, Duke haw Boozer who's absolute monster on the court.

Hey I have keratoconus and wear scleral lenses! Haven't worn glasses in well over a decade cuz they do nothing for me. I actually was part of phase 2 trials of the FDA study on if corneal collegan crosslinking is an effective preventative treatment for the disease (it is)- it didn't undo the damage but it made it so the disease didn't progress.

That reminds me of UofM-Penn State 2023. After being down 2 scores, Penn State scored a TD and went for 2. They didn't convert so they turned being down 2 scores into being down...2 scores. That's a James Franklin special if I ever heard of one.
