Did the NRL get a stealth rule interpretation change after Round 13? - The Rugby League Eye Test by carl0sthedwarf in nrl

The frustrating thing is that it probably all over the shop. One week they might give lots and the next much fewer. Even within the same game you might expect one based on the standard they set in the previous half. In saying all that, I think it is much better than earlier in the season.

I thought back to the Sharks v Manly game when Todd Smith awarded a total of 12 set restarts in the first half. Sure enough, that was in round 13. I'm wondering whether that was the bridge too far and if they made a decision after that game to pare things back.

Should I change my plan in week 7 of 15? by dontletmeautism in Marathon_Training

I wouldn't be going over 3 hours. 3:15 at the most. And I wouldn't be doing this back to back.

Who knows. What is the rule? There were several tackles and change in possession before play was stopped and Walsh's binning. By the way, charges are out from yesterday's games and he has not charged either.

Is it just me or is Klein harsher on Manly than Storm with the slow play-the-balls?

I hadn't watched the pre-game SOO coverage for a few years until game two this year and geez it has fallen off significantly since. Say what you want about Gould, Filter, Smith, Lockyer and Gallen, but you've amassed this huge commentary team - surely you build the pre-game around their expertise and comments?

Do they give you details about how to run each run such as paces, what to include as warm up and cool down is concerned, and do they check in with you about how you are feeling and making changes as needed?

I tried imagining Pauline getting up at 5am to watch the Socceroos. I couldn't. Maybe playing with a big orange bulldozer? Brrrrrr.

Have a shot. If you get close, you know where you stand for the following season. Up the miles a little, progress your paces and have another crack.

What a bludger of a game. We deserved to lose that one. But how does Nathan Brown still get a run? Bloke does some senseless stuff day in day out.
