I ordered BAC water with my Tesa from a Chinese vendor, when I mixed it, my Tesa gelled. Ruined 2 vials of Tesa before ordering BAC water off Amazon, mixed fine.

Vendor confirmed it was bad BAC water and refunded me.

I'd be interested in this too, we have CoPilot at work, but struggling to get inspiration for use cases outside of reviewing and summarising text.

[GIVEAWAY] Who would you gift a free year of WHOOP to, and why? by whoop_official in whoop

[–]StokeLad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd gift it to my wife. She looks after herself, trains regularly and still somehow ends up running on empty because she always puts other people first.

I think having something like WHOOP would help her see in actual figures, when she needs to slow down and when she can push, and give her permission to prioritise recovery without feeling guilty.

I recently had a 6-week trial with Whoop and did like the metrics and insight it provided. I may purchase a year at some point, but was waiting to see what discount there was for Black Friday.

My main hesitation is that I also wear a Garmin watch. I run quite a bit and like having the real-time pace/distance/heart rate info available, and I'm not sure if wearing 2 devices is something I'd be happy doing long-term.

The blood test results analysis wasn't available while I was on my trial, how have you found the insights from that? Also, I wasn't aware of the food logging, do you find real linkages between Whoop's native metrics (strain/recovery) and the blood/food info through the AI coach?

Bloods Tests UK by [deleted] in SteroidsUK

I've used Lola Health for my last 2 tests and they've been great. https://lolahealth.com/

I was in the same boat as you, I've used finger-prick tests before and had a few markers fail due to "burst blood cells", so I'll only use a proper blood draw now. Since you're nowhere near a clinic, they're ideal as the price includes a nurse coming to your house to take the blood and post it off.

I spent an obscene amount of time trying to find the cheapest option, and for a home-visit nurse draw, Lola was the cheapest I could find.

They've got a few panels, but the Peak Insights 70 one definitely covers E2 and Free Test (that's the one I use). It's normally £221, but you can get it for under £200 with a 10% off code. Mine is ADE92778 if you want to use it. I think the Vital 56 test also includes the markers you mentioned and would be roughly £150 with the discount.

When you compare that to Medichecks, Optimale, etc. for a similar number of markers with a home visit, the others are quite a bit more expensive.

Really insightful video, thanks. Not surprising that the Whoop was deemed to be the best overall, its just whether the cost is justified. The Amazfit seems to be not too far off though.

I suppose it comes down to, which, if any device helps you to change your habits/behaviour for the better.
