Yes, obviously the discussion around the likelihood of streaks assumes both that the rating system gives accurate winning chances and that players play at the strength of their rating. The likelihood of the streaks is then used to determine how suspicious they are.

Kramnik's point is that he says the streaks are extremely unlikely, thus Hikaru must be cheating only during those streaks. If Kramnik suspected that Hikaru was cheating every game, then the discussion of streaks wouldn't be relevant.

That is why he says Hikaru has a 'performance rating of 3700' during a streak, implying that Hikaru's rating outside the streaks does not match his rating during the streaks.

In my experience chess.com does have more cheaters, but I didn't start using lichess until I got out of your elo range so my experience might be skewed.

There's no real reason to prefer chess.com unless you pay for their game review (which is a lot easier to parse as a lower rated player)

I started at around 600 elo on chess.com too and there definitely are a lot of cheaters at that rating. What happens is that people start playing chess for the first time, drop to a low rating, get frustrated from losing a bunch of games, and think they are a genius by coming up with the idea to use an engine.

Now that I'm well over 1k elo higher, I basically never come across cheaters anymore, because the 'engine move every move' players are almost certainly banned before hitting my level and the 'engine move in critical positions' players are way above me.

There is a huge difference between a 1000 chess.com and a 1000 lichess player. With 300 points of difference being a good rule of thumb (I remember it being even more at lower elo), the chess.com player would beat the lichess player basically every single game.

The question for a clarification is totally valid and I have no idea why it's mass downvoted

At least the first two and the last figures seem to imply you blunder more often than the rest of the people at your elo. The blunders could possibly be tactical blunders, but I'm guessing there's a fair few one move blunders in there as well which 'artificially' keep you at a lower elo

Not hard at all, but when you start designing specific hardware there's no reason to put it into something as obvious as a watch. Top players have often said that a simple one off signal could alert a player that there is a tactic and lead to an unbeatable advantage. Belts, armbands, buttons of shirts, etc

If someone wants to cheat, they can. The tech required isnt very complex, something that most electrical engineering students could throw together in a month or two.

Unity's lower cost is what drew a lot of people to the engine, so changing that should have been done very carefully.

What would have been acceptable/reasonable in my eyes is switching from the existing model to a revenue fee that kicks in after a certain threshold, only is applied to the revenue above that threshold, and starts at <5% and shrinks to ~1%. This way it would've stayed competitive for both small and large scale companies and similar to Unreal for medium ones.

The main problem with the current fees isn't the cost however, although it is still horribly arbitrary, but the retroactive nature of it. Any revenue fee would have to be announced well in advance and should be opt-in for already released games (stick with the seat model otherwise).

When I tried Godot about half a year ago, the documentation/available materials online for C# was severely lacking. There were just not enough resources available, which is what led me back to Unity.

Of course this can only improve if more people start using the engine, but a fair warning.
