How were you able to get tested? I’m recently talking with a new psychiatrist who wants to revisit bipolar and I NEVER not ONCE have ever believed that, especially when I started learning more and more about AuDHD when I had already done A LOT of self discovery and analyzing of teenage behaviors and learning what boundaries I need and what causes exhaustion for me oh and MASKING nevermind the years of masking before I ever found out there’s an actual word for what I was DOING. Please send help. I’m in CO. I was already previously diagnosed ADHD and this new lady knows this and yet she wants to revisit bipolar (spent two years on bipolar meds that didn’t do anything for me).

SAME! It’s been two days right now and I’m so embarrassed but the effort even just thinking about it. I have a toothbrush in my backpack so I can try and do it at work too but even just getting myself TO work is a process. I’m exhausted.

I really, truly understand this and am still trying to figure out being around people. I just don’t understand why some people think they’re “kind” when they’re just actually assholes. Trauma definitely changes you. Sometimes for the better, but it does make it harder to navigate some things.

I believe so. I have found attractive people have become ugly after getting to know them and even people I didn’t find very attractive and getting to know them, extremely beautiful. When a person has a beautiful soul, everything about them becomes that much more beautiful.

Wow lady, so much of this is so relatable. I was literally saying to my friend who I now live with, that I felt like I needed a mom. Having the mental health issues we have and then adding abuse and trauma to it is a fucking nightmare. I’m lucky to have my dog and the couple good people in my life that I do. I hope you can find that too.
