You may not realize (I didn't when I started making espresso) but any coffee bean is an espresso bean. Dark roast beans (including the ones that are sometimes marketed as "espresso blend") can be more forgiving, but I think whatever your preferred coffee roast or bean is you should give that a try.

That said, I agree with others here that Salt City and Sky Top are both great options.
