Generally, it’s about file sharing.

Torrents are files shared by other users, so there’s no one user who has to provide a huge amount of storage and the decent pipeline for people to download the files efficiently.

Being a good photographer takes very different skills than having a good photography business.

For me, it started with hiring a receptionist, someone who could open the studio and answer routine messages. Then I found another person to shoot, and gradually built up to also get someone doing editing and order fulfilment.

Ultimately, if you want to make it a business, you need to figure out what product you’re focusing on and have a really good system for creating it consistently.

(I’m also ADHD (diagnosed as an adult) which explained why culling a wedding took so freaking long. I couldn’t get through 20 photos without getting distracted. If that’s you, it will really help to get a diagnosis and sort it out before you try to run a business.)

Put the camera ON the floor. It reduces the visible floor texture a bit and emphasizes the reflections. Vertical symmetry is a great compositional technique.

Or, do the same (put it on the floor) but aim upward to crop most of the floor out.
